I cant find the dam thing its in none the spots i would exspect a fuel filter to be. dont see it along the fraim rails. not on the fender or fire wall. i pulled the cover under the back seat out to see if it was near the top of tfuel tank not there. please help where the hell is my fuel filter :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

Yeah that's because it's not in any of the usual spots, the fuel filter is located on the right side, passenger, of the engine block, it's a real PITA to get to. Ive relocated mine to the fender well of my 4Runner, it's much easier to get to and no longer on a HOT engine block.

realy they mounted a fuel filter to the motor. so should i just unbolt the starter to even think about replaceing it? whats tthe secret tip trick i need a tip of the week

another question do i need to remove intake to remove the fuel injectors? I was gonna do fuel filter. and if it didnt run better was gonna soak the injectors in seafoam over night. this is my first 22re i ever had so working on it all new to me im use to chevys.

You only need to remove the upper intake to get to the fuel injectors. That means you need a few gaskets, upper intake and EGR to throttle body chamber.

Fuel filter is totaly doable with the starter and oil filter in place. Just need some long extensions.

that was a real son bytch till i took the wheel off then no problem. but im hard headed and stuburn and thought i could do it with the wheel on. now to do plugs wires dist cap if still runs like shyt gonna pull uppper intake off try to clean the injectors my self in seafoam. if that dont work i guess i be sending them out to get cleaned.

things im doing are things it needs one way or another. it sat for 5 to 6 years

Fuel filter done. plugs wires cap rotor done. still runs on number 1 and 4 but 2 and 3 not doing anything. i got fuel and trust me it has spark lit my ass up. checked the wire harness found one the injector splices nice clean and coper . couldnt find the other splice but im figutreing it looks the same. any ideas sugestions?

i duno how to post vid from photobucket heres a link of the motor runnin

It's either spark or fuel on those two cylinders. If you are sure that the plugs are firing on those cylinders then it's either the injector harness and/or a plugged injector(s). I've had a plugged injector before; it does happen.

thing is when i take the plugs out the plug there soaked not dry . to me it says geting fuel any idea

So tell us exactly how you have confirmed spark on those two cylinders. I'm not sure if injectors can stick open? I also have no idea what would happen. Does the exhaust smell rich when it's running?

i took the plug wires off stuck a old plug in the wire and got shocked like a sombytch while looking for spark at the eltecrode.
When i take the plugs out there soaked in gas,.
