My herd is considering Grandfather Mtn for the day. Alternatives are Linville Caverns or a hike somewhere.

Actually I have some nice tubes, including a double seater with a cooler. So yes. I'll bring.

@LCNuts Bring! Please! Want boating company. Will also need help dragging @forrest5000 and @BMThiker around.
We've got some nice single seater w/ cup holder lounger tubes (fer shootin' the 'Hooch), but I expect no one to actually tow me.
*but I don't deny that I own a donut tube as pictured above
Actually, I might see if I can borrow a friend's kayak rig.

Nothing organized. Just bring firewood but anything to share is welcome.

This is good, but the chance of rain has ticked up. Hopefully that changes for the better this week, but pack accordingly.
Read up about firewood. It has to be certified bug free or something like that.

@BMThiker had me all worried about rain but I see it says 50%. Sounds like a typical mountain afternoon, ha
Wx looks like mostly afternoon showers. I've never been to Blowing Rock, so I'm going to grab lunch & a brew somewhere before hitting the campground. The caverns sound interesting too.
