Yeah I agree with Marshall....even though I may only drive my 40 once in a blue moon, which is going to change....I'll never sell it....I love that thing and I still have things I want to do to it....and I'll never get rid of the 60.....as a matter of fact we've been tossing around the idea of getting a hundy....we've got to see how 2 kids will work in the 4runner....plus we like the gas mileage with a runner.

Guess no one caught that.

Congrats chuck on the new kid.

life can be so aggrevating. I am stuck watching the boys while the wife and daughter are shopping. Then i gotta meet them for lunch and then go to work. Meanwhile the dent is sitting in the side of the yard in pieces. :crybaby: And its gonna be 60 outside today. aaaaasgggghhhhhh!:bang:

I set up the sandbox today and put the kid in it and went to work on the 40 cleaned out the fuel filter, gotta get a new filter cartridge and then I should be able to get gas to the carb and she should run on her own.

So changing spark plugs on my dad's F150 is a total PITA. It's widely known that the 2004-2008 has major problems with plugs breaking off and there is an extraction tool specifically made for this engine which has been used in several fords, linc, and mercs. Well we got started around 9 this morning expecting it to be a bear of a job with maybe 2 or 3 plugs breaking (he bought the tool just in case). Yeah, 7 of 8 broke off and while trying to get the last one out the tool broke. Now we have a truck sitting in the garage and the closest place with the tool in stock is in Greenville. They can have it shipped by Tues. Looks like I'll be driving him to gville tomorrow.

Congrats, Chuck. I didn't catch it either.

Josh, Make sure to use anti-seize when you put them back!!

We did on the pass. side. Last one on the drivers is when the tool broke. I won't matter though. It'll be another 100k before the job is done again and they'll still break. Just the nature of these plugs.

You win...

I found out today my shower has been leaking and has taken half of the bathroom with it. So I get to gut it and build a new bathroom. Yay.....

Wow, that sucks. At least it happened while materials are cheap instead of 4 years ago. Wish you the best on that project, just don't over spend on new fixtures. You can get way out of hand and budget in a hurry. About the only bathroom product I would pay extra money for is a Toto toilet. Those things are awesome.

My hell this weekend. Oh and a bonus was the giant ants nest that was in with all the rot.

I would see maybe 1 or two tiny ants a week in the bathroom but never thought I had a big issue. What a mess. All those little dots are dead ants and everytime I poped off another tile more poured out. This is going to cut into my wrenching time.

Took the wife to Bob's Small Town Grille last night for Valentines day....as usual the food was spectacular and the service was fantastic......If you are looking for a great different idea to take your wife to fir a great meal, take her to Bob's in Royston Ga.

Well Marshall, you were right. I found out last night that the guy totaled the 4Runner I was going to trade for this weekend and was instantly relieved. The Gods have spoken, it is off the market. I will be putting on the TPI fuel injection prior to Gulches and hopefully hydro-assist before GSMTR.

Dang... well I guess things have a way of working themselves out. Hopefully the 4Runner owner is OK!
