It's a long part number that is a combination of numbers and letters. ...... J684DAMN334HARD321TO442GET.
I did that from memory and could be a number or two off.
Sorry I forgot the part number is all uppercase. :)

Now that I got the wipers fixed. The FJ73 passed state inspection. :bounce:

For some reason, the entire windshield is tinted and I forgot to remove it before taking it in but I guess the guy overlooked it. It does not look that dark from the outside but you can definitely see it when sitting inside the truck.

If you have recently purchased a 70 Series and it is registered in the U.S. it belongs here..... U.S. 70's Registration.
Upon registration you will be shown the secret handshake and will be eligible for the 70 Series t-shirt.

I am still waiting for my shirt.

I heard you had to have at least 50 comments. maybe its 100 now :p
And I've heard the 70 Series Old Farts take a secret vote after your first 90 days.

Edit: In fact, here is a rare photo of one of the SOFs in full dress costume. This is what they look like during SOF meetings held under a full moon.......or while turkey hunting. You are likely to see one or more of them if you attend the 70 Series gathering in Cullman in two weeks....

Nice rig, nice zip code.

Do you have an alarm to go with that wheel lock?

It's on my list, Ward. Probably going to happen this weekend. I'm not going to screw around this time - my last vehicle was stolen from that very same spot, a 2001 Subaru Impreza wagon. It's literally outside the window of my living room.

Another item on my list: finding an insurance agent that will actually do full coverage on this car. Geico will not.

No help on the ins. I lived in and around that zip over the years and would hate to see such a fine rig get burgled, buggered and gone away.

Cheers!

I had no luck using my insurance company that insures all my other vehicles and my house (she tried), but the she does act as a broker for Hagerty insurance and was able to get me covered that way. You can do a search for agents that work with Hagerty as a broker in your area...they can be from State Farm, Geico or whatever.

I am paying $518 for the whole year (I valued it at $30,000) just to be on the safe side.
