Starting your own thread would be beneficial if you have a service to offer.

Hello all.

I recently acquired a FJ73, LHD with soft top. New to land cruiser world. I work at the Toyota plant that makes the Tundra and Tacoma trucks. My daily driver is a supercharged Tundra RCSB and was planning on driving this on the side.

Trying to get used to driving it and it feels like a tank. It runs good, shifts good. I looked it over with a fine comb and did not find any rust. Unfortunately I already have my first issue with it concerning the wiper linkage to wiper motor connection. A small plastic bushing type piece came off and I probably used every cuss word in the book trying to fix that myself. I am hoping a local cruiser shop can have better luck than me. If anyone is familiar with that issue and has tips for me, I would be grateful.

Cruiserdan, Beno, Cruiser Outfitters are a few names you should add to your Rolodex. (Assuming anyone still uses Rolodex's.
Congrats on your purchase.

Welcome mate
Nice score that LHD truck in that condition is like winning lotto on this forum. :)

Thank you for the compliment. It is in pretty good shape for a 29 year old truck but there are parts that need to be replaced or repaired like this annoying wiper bushing issue.

None that I have seen. I know that they are somewhat hard to find and that the USPS loves to break them ;)

I love that that deflector... is there a part number on that. Sweet rig@!
It's a long part number that is a combination of numbers and letters. ...... J684DAMN334HARD321TO442GET.
I did that from memory and could be a number or two off.
