Here I am agreeing with Pees in one thread and then back to normal....
Who cares if that is Semi Float? I hate FF anything inthe rear personally, but even so, the 3rd is wicked coo!
If I were still gay like some of you and wanted to keep it "all Toyota" that would be the MAC daddy 3rd....

My Taco has very similar running gear on a buggy you had, and it may break some, but Im just not a sell out
I was hoping that the big money like you would be the first to put this 3rd in some diamond axles

My Taco cranks but doesnt drive and Ive got the 1 year old going rummm-raaaummmn-raaummm because I start it up everyday to stay motovated

You can just push that stuff so far before it is time to go big.
I have no desire to run Toyota stuff anymore. I am over it. Hell, that 3rd is probably built in Mexico anyway
anybody heard any rumors of lockers for the 10.5" diff?
What do you have against ff rears ?
I would guess weight is part of the answer.
I like Miller's version betteri hear that lincoln makes a good one....
To the top! Looks like Nitro has a 5;29 gear-set available for this axle. Trying to find an axle cheap enough to cut up and throw under my rig.
Ok. So who's been playing with this axle now that we have some gear and locker options? I'm wanting to run some all Toyota axles with 42's on my taco build. BTT

Ruffstuff makes housings for them. not sure what you'd use as outers though.

Anyone know if there is a spool available for the 10.5" tundra diff? A quick search on google did not show anything....
