Hello. I have a question about my 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser (I assume its a Prado as I am overseas in Finland). I also assume I have a J120 as the rear styling has high rear lights just like the 150 model. The Prado goes from a 90 series to a 120 to a 150.
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I am trying to order floor liners for our deep snow mess here in Finland. weathertech, the manufacturer of these that are supposed to be exact fit says that 1998-2007 are the same. Most other companies on Ebay have a different part number from 2002 on. I am so confused what is going on. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Graham

03-09 Lexus GX470 are the ones you need.

Thank you very much for the respose. I again called Weathertech for mat liners and they say you are wrong and that all 1998-2007 LandCruiser Mats fit perfectly. Now I am REALLY confused.

In the USA, when a person reference a 2007 land cruiser...they are talking about 100 series cruiser. The weathertech person is wrong if they expect the cruiser mat to fit your prado. I agree with ChiTown...gx470 mats is your closet match to a prado...

Post a picture of the exterior and interior of your vehicle

The mre I read guys the more I am confused. The dealership sold me a 2007 Land Cruiser. Now by the id plate of the car, I plugged it into google and it said it was a Prado. Some sites call it the smaller broter of a LC. I never knew this as they are both built on 120 chassis. This really makes part ordering harder. Its smaller but on the same frame.. Confused?? Help please. Thanks everyone!!

The 120 is considered a Land Cruiser Prado (it's full name) and shares the frame with the 4Runner/Surf, FJ Cruiser, and GX470.

It is more commonly referred to as a Prado 120

The 2007 Land Cruiser would be a 100 series and would identifiable by it's enormous size and lack of the word "Prado" by the rear licence plate.

If your truck looks like this:

It is a Land Cruiser Prado (120 chassis) and you will need the GX470 mats from weather tech.

It is a 100 series

Thank you for your response. You have helped alot but also have me more confused... The dealer sold it to me as a Land Cruiser... But in the 3.0 D4d there was no 100 series. They went from 90 to 120. (I have been at this for days man).
The door tag says its a 120 series Prado.. So I get that now. I just was wondering why they put these smaller Prados on the big 120 chassis??
I really thought I was buying a 7 seating Land Cruiser. You say that its small but I have a big trunk when the 7 seats are down. I looked at the diamensions and an a Prado is not much bigger than a norm. LC.
Any help or websites would be appreciated!! Thank you, Graham

The Prado IS a Land Cruiser. Period. The 120 series Land Cruiser Prado is NOT the same frame as the 100 series Land Cruiser (the lower pic) and has a completely different drivetrain, etc.

They are both Land Cruisers. Just not the same :)

We don't get the 120 series Land Cruiser Prado (or 90, or 150) AT ALL in the US. Lexus makes a model simlar (the GX470 for the 120, and the GX460 for the 150 series). They only come with a gas option engine, which is shared with the 100 series Land Cruiser.

Now, the 90 series Land Cruiser Prado was the previous generation of your truck. The next generation is the 150 series Land Cruiser Prado.

In your country they may not have sold the 100 series the way you see it above, or they may have, depends on what is available in your market.

Just to bend your mind a bit...there is ALSO a 70 series, as well as an 80 series line of Land Cruisers.

More confused now. Chitown here said that if I had the Prado I would see it saying that on the license plate light holder. It doesnt say that- The trunk houses he 3rd row of seats and I still have a decent trunk...
So I read and read and read. And the 120 Prado is more like a 4Runner many sites say... Then you say they have a 120 LC. If the frames are different could someone please tell me why they are both 120 series. If its a a different frame couldnt Toyota have called it a 130 or something.
I pity the parts guys with these cars....
Dan-There is also my beautiful 62 model :)

I just explained it in perfect detail WITH a picture. Not sure I can help you.

The 4R and FJ Cruiser are based on the 120 series drivetrain and frame. What else dont you get?

Either post pictures or you will be filed into the troll category :)

yeah i was gonna say, post a picture of it and end this nonsense... or idk google pictures of what you think you have and see if they look the same...

There's your answer - you have a 120-Series, known as the Land Cruiser Prado (or Lexus GX470, or Surf/4Runner, or FJ Cruiser depending on body and market). You can stop overcomplicating things now.
