glad you are okay and the team is all still here to tell the stories.

I'm in for the group buy keg of beer for team 303!
I was cross posting all the comments I could for the GCC club forum. Your letter has finally put me at ease.

so on the other hand, besides the shocks, how did the 80 do , per your expectations?

[not to belittle the seriousness of the accident]

Kevin:

1> glad everyone is ok....

2> WOW...what a story...i've been following it too...

3> if you get motivated to write a story, pics, etc...let me know and i'll add it as a front page article to 'MUD...

I'm really glad to hear that you guys are ok, i bet next time it's going to be much better:cheers:

Kevin and the rest of the team. Glad all is well, with the exception of the bumps and bruises. Sorry about the truck. Unbelievable story. The Utah cruiser guys have been talkin a lot about you guys the past few days. Know you've got friends over here too. Take care.

I am glad all are OK and hope you guys keep racing. You all did a fantastic job pulling all this together. I was about to show the original owners of that 80 the Mag article. Grocery Getter to Baja. I for one am ready for the "Deathproof" cage and am glad for all the proper steps for safety you guys did.

what can isay that has'nt been said already........

but i also am damn glad that brett is ok. he's a super cool dude. really happy that he did'nt get hurt bad or worse.

any chance we can get an email addy for the guys from 303? i'd like to send them a small "thank you".

still bummed i missed the race this year. you guys planning on going again next year? with your won rig?

Incredible Story. Glad everyone is OK. This, plus the chopper crash carrying a drug lord who is now dead, and price tags on the chopper survivors, reads like a Pulp Fiction Movie. The legend of Baja grows bigger.

When do you think you might have pics of the carnage?

Not to entirely speak for Kevin (He is running the Mojave Road right now) but I think it may be a little while untill things settle down.

EDIT: Should keep my feelings to myself

Yes and No, i am planning on building another 80 and running it mainly solo with one other driver only.

Details coming soon! :D

Nah, things never settle down Mo! :D :D :D

With all due respect for you and the team why the harsh words?

Post edited, dude has no class, showing zero interest in the well being of others and only being concerned about carnage.

Put yourself or your friends and family in our place and let me know how your thoughts differ!

X2

anybody who has'nt met kevin or brett would'nt know what these guys are like. they're definetly top notch in my book!

Are the "no class" comments being directed at me because I inquired about pictures?

Glad to hear everyone was ok! I just got back from Baja myself and those are some steep shoulders. Very scary but impressive that they were moderately ok after such a drop-off.

Still shot in a video:

Hood up @ 08:24: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBDez9LgGD8

There is a white 80 seen @ a roadside camp in many of the shots.

Still no REAL video footage . . .

Video appears to be me pulled into BFG Pit 1 getting the ByPasses adjusted to stiffen them up.

The white 80 seen in many of the shots is probably mine! :)

I did see quite a few 80's down there and one REALLLLLLLY nicely build Anniversary Edition from Mainland Mexico that i was drooling over!

That is pretty stupid setting up in the outside of a corner, slow or not. Good shots though.

Sad, that is probably the last picture of the truck intact. Bummer to know such a well built truck is totally destroyed already. :frown:
