Well my custom machines bolts arrived. So after ordering and paying on February 7th I now should have all the things I need to assemble this gem!

Hoping to start tomorrow then get cleaning the split case bits that are dirty for reassembly.

Bam!

Well, after 9 months...... let me congratulate you on carrying the blackbox baby to term.

By the photo, it would seem it is a boy. Have you chosen a name?

What's next on the agenda once you the the transfer bolted on?

Considering your mechanical ability when you do finally complete the install instructions ,you may want to stretch that 9 months out to a year for the lay person install.:worms:

Ha you guys know me to well. I forgot
One little plastic oiler that goes in front of the first adapter plate. I get to practice again tonight.

Damn.

Well started to throw t case on and noticed some damage to the idler shaft. I'll be ordering a rebuild kit now. Was on the fencer about it anyway so this made the choice easy

Got turbo oil supply and return fitting installed on turbo. Finishing up supply now. Tight clearance with starter. The oil drain hose I bought is a little long and is crimped Hyd. Hose so I'll have to get a shorter one made. Going to try and turn is over with the starter tonight to get oil to the turbo and generally splashing around again.

Oiler is in and t case is rebuilt and assembled. Going to clean shop tomorrow really well. Then dog troopy out of back yard and get him ready to get towed into garage

Need to steal and engine hoist too. Try and line that up this week

Next we went and used Sammy to pull troopy from the back. And also used him to push him into the bay

Then we stripped a few last things off

Then....

What I learned is that there is a bunch more stuff before engine is even close to ready to go in.

1. Remove old motor mounts.
2. Remove old Crossmember mounts
3. Remove fuel tank
4. Remove frame coss member
5. Remove interior seats and tranny hump

I'll have to relocate the crossmember and fuel tank and shifter hole and engine mounts and trans mount.

That's it!!

Have the motor mounts, trans mount, and cross member cut out. Primed chars bumper and got a headache. 2k paint is nasty business

Off today so away I go

Fired plasma up and cut off more useless junk

Spare tire under body carrier. It had to go to make room for a fuel tank.

Fuel tank is out.

Exhaust is gone now

Any random bracketed. Well most of it anyway.

Started wire wheeling frame to get it clean enough to weld to for bracketry. My arms are sissy desk job arms though and they get tired.

Dude. You need to wipe the scuzz off the lens of your camera on your phone. Your pics make me feel like the bed spins will soon be arriving.

Maybe your GF will weld those for you with her welder. :)

Here's some motivation for ya.

Only 11 months and Troopy will be headed back to California.
