Another great trip! 619TOY (Steve) even joined us!!!

If you like Mojave Rd, try this sometime.. not as much history to look at , but enough to keep you going that's for sure. Way more remote than Mojave Rd. Anyways, here's the report:

The Adventure Duo: The Highway of the Devil

I read your Adventureduo trip report and saw the pics. I recognized the 4runner and that guy that shared his grilled food. But I didnt see his name.

Awesome trip again.
Maybe I can hook up a Radio Flyer Wagon (with me in it) to your SMB so I can finally go on one of your trips!

Yeah i need to add his name to the Tri tip roster!... sometimes i type too fast. Man those tri tips rocked!

You're welcome anytime Allen!

Superb write up and pics as usual Dave! The one pic with the FJ's, 4runner and your Sportmobile on the right end make everyone else's truck look like a matchbox! Looked a little chilly but not too cold?

That's great Dave. I really want to do Mojave again when it's warmer, but not blazing hot! Trail would be fun to run at night too!

I know now why I couldn't follow the gps file Scott provided too! Did a quick RTFM when I got home. I was trying to 'navigate' the route like you would streets. NOT! There's a different place under the maps to go to for a track! Gotta go try again!!!

Streets LOL! Gotcha. I remember running my old Garmin on that trail, it showed me as a dot in the middle of a blank screen LOL!

That's what's nice about the Baja 540... the entire mojave road is already on it :D

Same with ECDD, it was all there. I just add some waypoints for interesting spots or camps and head out.

Usually April is beautiful for Mojave Rd. Should get some flowers this year.

900 miles is at least 4 tanks of gas in the cruisers! What kind of mileage did you get in the SMB Dave?

Is there that many Pima Indians out there that don't speak Spanish or English, to warrant a Tohono version of the sign? That's a trip.

Nice write-up, dude!

I hadn't even thought of that as a possibility. I just remember thinking to myself "so this must be where Ira Hayes was from", sad story.
