Glad someone else in CLC can be called on to display talent. The "Gilmore" is officially retired. Carry on Chris!

Oh Hail naw! Theys room enough for both ya'll under the snake farm.

Childsplay

No doubt. We can't even discuss diving boards until we elbow deep into a case....

When I grow up I wanna be a cottonland diving board.

Does clc have insurance to cover liver damage?

I have banned myself from the "fire water" after my recent trip to the coast. Glad there wasn't a diving board to be found. I almost didn't make it! Couldn't tell if my back was hurting from the s***ty beds or because of my liver. I think it was the liver!

The liver is evil, so it must be punished.

let's get this back on track......

a few things to ponder for 2013:

it will be the 25th running of the rubithon event

i talked to tony twiddy ( ex TLCA pres and rubithon chairman for many years past and yet to come ) at this years' run. he asked me to step up and make "my" group an official run for 2013. however, we can be a "closed run" which means invite only. i told him that some of my southern peeps were thnking about joining us and he is super stoked about it!
up until now my run has been an outlaw run and invite only as well. what's the difference? not much other than that we'll have to appoint a few rigs/drivers official trail comittee. bossman comes to mind.........:steer:

of course we would tailor the route to the rigs we'll be bringing thru. sure, this year we ran all the toughest obstacles on the trail but if we're going to have some wagons and milder rigs along, then i'll tone it down a bit. our #1 goal is to be there an have a good time, not to wrench. that pretty much sums up my usual drivers-meeting. :D

if you need some more incentive, then check out jebber's write-up if you ain't already.

I don't know what this means but even if it means I get to be the guy that has to bury everyones "little white flowers" :eek:I'll gladly accept the nomination for a chance to participate in this ride!

After looking at Jebbers post I have decided the 40 is definitely making this trip. Wonder how much propane I'll need?:hhmm:

Sorry if I missed it, but what is the usual date/week for the Rubithon?

I had a great 1st interview with an awesome company, so I might just be able to make it!

Checked out jebbers write up and I'm amazed at the pics. Looks like one of the most beautiful places on earth. Curious about the weather. I see shorts and t shirts but wondering if it varies greatly from day to night etc. ?
