I was thinking of going see King of the hammers next year and possible going back to CO. Actually that Dakota trip looked pretty awesome. I feel like we could do the CO trip anytime. Rubicon is first on our list though. If I open another fitness center then it would probably be until 2013 before I could do a big trip anyway.

The rubicon trail is a "public road". So it's open to anybody anytime. Sometimes it's super crowded, sometimes there's hardly anybody on the trail. Is hit and miss. That holds true for rubithon or any of the other events held there.
To me Fordyce is more of a challenge than the con'. But you guys will love the scenery as Georg said.
Plan to pack your s*** in water proof bags if the flo-rate is up there. Oh and the winch hills.....muah hahaha! Good times!!

yeah, this boat needs to get back on course.
so i'm thinking about building a new front axle for the buggy. full hydro, get rid of the ps box, chop the frame a little in the front, lower the winch and move it back,........this is gonna get expensive. but i have 2 fj60s i should be able to sell to pay for all of this "so not needed" upgrade. but that's a whole different thread all-together.
so who's interesed in running the con?
