I got back a quick reply from the manufacture. They said if the length of hose is + or - 4 inches of the 12.5 he will allow it to be part of the group buy. You will need to figure what the length needs to be on your own as i do not have a split case to compare it to. The new length will have to be ordered the same time. There is not an opportunity to order one and see how it fits then order more. This is a gamble on the split case owner to consider.

I would recommend using a 1/2 inch rubber hose and hold it up to the center of the inspection plug to the center of the other inspection plug. Based on my experience it will take two people to hold each end of the hose to accurately measure the length. Give me this length and that is the length of hose we can tell the manufacture to make. The manufacture said this needs to be accurate for all the split cases as there would be added cost to modify these after they are made. I would recommend more than one of you split case owners do this measurement to check each other.

Make sure the bend is a gentle bend not a sharp bend or the hose wont fit right.

We need to give the manufacture the center of plug (or the banjo fitting) to center of plug (or banjo fitting) Just for your information the distance from the center of the banjo fitting to the beginning of the hose is one inch. We need to tell the manufacture the distance center of banjo to center of banjo. The other thing to make sure is the thread size is 18mm x 1.5> I think it is the same on both the split and the older cases. Someone with a metric thread gauge needs to verify that on the split cases.

What about those with H55? Hose looks a bit short.

.The OP (Shipmag) doesn't own the combination that you speak of (H55 and split case). He will rely on you to measure your combination and accept the liability for your measurement. If your measurement is no longer than 16.5" (12.5 + 4), then you can get in on the group buy as well for the same price. If you can measure and a couple other guys with that combination can measure to double check you, then you should be good to go.
Mine measures 17" (H55F, PTO, split case), that's 0.5" over the limit!

Thanks for the help Copenhagen. This thing could get more complicated than I want to deal with. Dont know if the manufacture would buy into three different sizes. Your explanation Inthink is right on. What is an H55 any way. I figured a split case is just a newer transfer case than the 70's like I have.

7 have paid now just received payment from Pauly. Copenhagen your right I dont own a split case or the H55. Those who want the old 4 speed with the split transfer case are on their own for getting the measurement right. I have no way of verifying the measurement.
