@OwnerCS do you happen to recall what the thread size is for these fittings? That is super smart conversion.

I'll make a picture and post tonight. It was just a box of assorted zerks from Advance Auto. I bought the assortment figuring I would find the right angle and lucked out with the 45 degree.

Here's a link to the AA part. below. $5.69. Any parts store should have these -- maybe just the 45 degree 1/4 inch.

I like these little mini-grease guns for u-joints and bushings in tight places.

@TheForger

"I am using Magnalube-GX (PTFE + Moly) grease in my front UCAs and rear UCA/LCAs. I lube them at each oil change.

I use the Magnalube-G (PTFE) grease for my driveshaft and wheel bearings. I buy direct from the vendor but you may be able to get it through McMaster or Grainger Magnalube-G | magnalube - https://www.magnalube.com/g-product-info

I use a very similar waterproof green grease on bushings, ball joints, CV, and u-joints. I bet if you get some of this on your clothes, it is hard to wash out. It just clings to whatever you use it on. I need to tell you about how it improved the service life of some usually garbage parts store CV axles from China on a different vehicle.

What brand and model is that one.
Might be time to change.

It's from Amazon. It looks to be nicer than the one I bought a few years ago from Autozone that didn't have any attachments.

I've got 4 grease guns that I'm using right now for different lubricants.

1) Mini for u-joints and tight places.
2) Full size with Mobil 1 red grease.
3) Full size with SuperLube clear grease.
4) Full size with Omni Lubricants green grease.

Just installed this weekend with 45 degree zerks.

That gives a straight shot in from the top.

Brilliant! I've had a kit of various size/angled zerks sitting on my work bench for a while with exactly this in mind. Glad to see it worked well for someone already.

Getting those control arms greased with the vertical zerk is a huge PITA. Requires a pair of pliers and a 'bottom hole' slide-on type fitting on the gun. Not ideal at all.

Just getting around to installing the trail tailor rear upper control arms. How did you all mount the abs sensor wire on the driver side. The OEM arms have a bracket for these.
