Got another patch panel in and a majority of the body work done, sanded and some sealer on the Ole Girl.

That is looking great

Thanks guys. It's slowly getting there. Got an ARB locker for the rear and the axle housing has been powder coated. More to come for sure.

Lucky

EDIT:
I guess luck has nothing to do with it, I'm still jealous though.

Nothing but money. Trying to save up for a front one. Gonna put that on hold and go ahead and get a clutch, body mount kit, powder coat the frame and a snorkel

Not much going on with the build right now. Now that the holidays are over, its time to get going on this slow project. Got all next week to finally do some work. Will post up the progress as I go.

Got the sliders tacked onto both sides this week

Thanks buddy. My schedule is fixing to change to straight day shift and working a 4/3 work schedule. I will have more time to work on it when this happens. More to come!!!!

Got the motor, trans, and t-case out. Next is to finish welding up the sliders and some other things. Then off to the powder coater.

So I can't decide on using single stage paint or base/clear to paint with. I also thought about having a local company matching the paint and rhino lining it. What say the Mud Community ????

I think the answer to the paint question truly lies in your intended use for the 60. If you are planning to hit trails and dirt, then the Rhino makes sense. If it is more of a street cruiser, the two stage is your best bet. In this day I can't imagine that single stage is worth it.

Excellent looking build!

I guess it all comes down to your preference. If you do choose to paint it you might as well base/clear it. Doesn't take any more work than single stage and I find that it makes future touch ups easier than single stage.

Its gonna serve double duty. DD and alot of trail riding. Just don't know how the Rhino would look. Thanks for the input. A lot to take in.

Thanks for the comment. Base/clear would be easier to sand and buff out if I got a lot of scratches in it. Like Zack1978 said, it depends on the use. This is gonna be a tough decision for sure.

Keep in mind that you can paint it now and spray it with liner later. It doesn't work out too good going from liner to paint.

After spending the weekend removing 10 year old rhino liner from my scrambler it is going to be difficult for me to say I like it very much right now.

Save the extra money and spend it on diesel fuel!

No offence to those that have done it (goss included), but to me, a fully lined rig does not look good.
I've seen it, contemplated doing my own and just cant get into it.
I wheel with a guy here in PA who Por15'd his entire fzj, and it looks good and is tough as heck.

Good point, and I can't wait to get the diesel fired up

Would like to see some pictures of the Por15 FZJ. Thanks for the input.
