I've been everywhere, man.
Crossed the desert's bare, man.
I've breathed the covid air, man. ;)

So how are you today? Hope you're feeling better!
Yeah totally back to normal thanks. I think anyways.

Spent the day replacing deck railings so I was roasting to death even without a fever. That weird bright thing in the sky is kinda hot. Who knew?

Was really nothing even worth mentioning any other time, but it was enough that I'd have had to call work and not go in if I wasn't on holidays. I don't want to be Typhoid Mary.

Thank **** for that, the swab to the back of the brain looks like freaking awful experience...

Good stuff man; glad to hear.

Yeah, I had forgotten what summer was like. But to be perfectly honest I was all good with the room temp weather we'd been having! I hate working in the hot stuff.

If cruisers could talk... guessing the seats had matching skidmarks to the 3 point slide

Didn't really affect anything strength or braking wise so I didn't bother swapping it out until today because I had to get in there anyways.

Had the classic stuck ebrake thing on the 61.

Figgered I'd try a nice honey mustard with hint of rosemary and field mellowed 3b glazing. :hillbilly:

Every other coating I've ever put on these things has come off. Curious to see how this does under a truck.

Yes, IH8 37C on my back porch in the shade. Please f***in snow, rain, ANYTHING,

And here everyone was complaining about the cool start to summer. Personally I was loving the 'room temperature' weather we were having.

Anyhow, the hot stuff is ok as long as a person can hang around their favorite swimming hole. Which I can't cause I'm sitting here in my non A/C building at UVic sweating profusely. :bang: A/C is only for the upper caste here....anyone with VP or Director in front of their title.

People have been waiting all winter to complain about the heat.

I'm not one of them.

No?

We've had one hot day.... ONE

I just find it all kinda funny, because a portion of my job is maintaining the temperature inside a 50+ year old building filled with nurses in various stages of menopause. Most of the control valves and dampers are still controlled pneumatically, so you can imagine how efficiently that works.

It's actually easier to deal with when it's either hot or cold. The "shoulder seasons" are a pain in the ass when it has to go from moderate heating to moderate cooling daily. This year that shoulder season has lasted 6 months.

Just got my first temperature complaint of the evening, it's 22.7 where nurse ratched is, told her the cooling is already running flat out, stop opening the ****ing doors and I'm not particularly sympathetic because the room I'm working in is currently 38.8 Celsius.

So yeah, my tolerance for complaints about weather is pretty low.
