Toyota OEM Gerry Cans and what type of oem mount?

What would be the "bolt pattern" for a 1976, as shown above for the mount??

I like the conn-ferr solution.... looks nicer...

Looks like offroad recovery went out of business, tried to order, but it pops up to say it went out of business, anyone got another source?

Thanks,

Don:rolleyes:

Well if any one has a can carrier I would be interested in it...

Thanks,

Don

Yes. These are available here in Pakistan. Shipping would be just a bit expensive if there is only one shipped. 10+ would bring that down considerably to about USD40

That is a beautiful truck! So clean!

I might have missed this, but who did the resto?

That's scary. I'd park it on carpet. It needs metal seat backs and a tool bag. The jack and handles should be yellow.

Yes, and you need one of those metal parts number stickers for the top of your rear heater. Maybe Shane has one!

I recall it woud have 2 swing carriers one for the tire and one for the can, but I might be wrong

MUCH better, but what is the factory location, if any? Do you relocate the spare inside, or was that just for convenience to mount to the tire carrier?

I would be interested in a couple if you get a group buy going. Do you have the Toyota OEM jerry cans too?

John

If people want these, I will coordinate shipping to one location and then distribute to all parties....

I am up for getting 2 myself. Just checking with Ehsan to see if I can add them to my soft top order. If not then I would be in for a group buy.

Me too

Sign me up for two holders as well. Anyone got a line on where you can get the cans?
Thanks.

Cdan can get them(he has one himself) or if anyone wants I can hook ya up with my parts guy as I know he can get them

they cost close to $200.....which makes tossin it on the back of the 40 a hard one to swallow

Agreed. The if the can holders ever come through I'm coming your way for the cans. Do we have a status report on getting together a group can holder order?
