Old hacked up RHD FQ15 with Isuzu Diesel Engine.
They do anything to keep them running there!!

Notice the nice work on the steering column!!
That would pass safety inspection!

I just noticed, this truck was converted to RHD.... Look at the brackets
for the writing board that was mounted under the original glove box!!

finally we finished the paint and all the "minor" details we found on it.
Its running on a turn key, I´m only missing the top now due to the winter season.

"....driven during the winter. This automobile has chains on the rear wheels as did most vehicles of the 1909 period, as the tires had no tread molded into them for that extra traction in the ice and snow."

NOT HQ/FQ but REALLY OLD!!

Check out this vehicle my friend just bought
He said it is 1943. Looks like a FC chassis with dual rear
wheels. Trying to get more info on it from him:

the bm went into production 3/1947

all trucks in and around WWII were very much stripped down versions...one headlight...wood beds...wood cabs

the GB was 1938-1942
then the KB was from 3/1942-1943
then was the KC wartime truck 11/1943-1947

the BM had louvers on the side that went about 1/2 down the side of the hood. the KB that does look alot like the bm had louvers that went all the way down the side. the bm and kb had many parts that were interchangeable..if infact it is a 1942...its probably a kb that had the cab changed to a bm.

just my 2c

sorry to be so technical :)

i love the old stuff :) and love all the pics that you show us steve....love to see more of that truck.
