Hi Jake,

Your last question first. My 1st drive is split up in two partitions C and F. I use C for programs only and F for all data. D and E are cd/dvd burners/players and my second hard disk has G and H partitions. H is dedicated for EPC2007 only.
So I install the program in C and all the data in H. I use E as the cd player for the CD's. BTW the EPC program is not installed in the C:\ program files directory but is a single folder/file in the C root. It's name is TMCEPCW2\Gcdrom.exe and contains 174 files.
This one is one of the three that shows up in the C root and is the only one that is deleted by an uninstall. The other two are:
TMCTMPW2 is a folder wich contains Gcdrom.bak and select.tmp which is installed by the setup.exe
and
TMCMSTW2 which is a empty folder.
The funny part is that the last folder (TMCMSTW2) is not installed by the setup.exe and comes back as an error message (see my first pic). So I copied the file from the install directory to the C root and hoped that that was it. NOT!

So I suspected that the install file was corrupt and deleted it. Went back to Electronic Parts Catalogues - Page: 1 and downloaded a fresh one. Did the whole circus again (for the 10th or 14th time) and............... the same error appeared!

The reason I choose for this version is that you don't have to download the markets that you don't want. I think I have to go for the all-in-one torrent download and spent a few more days on downloading. The problem is that there are sometimes only 1 or 2 seeds and it can take up for weeks.

Just to let you know that right now I'm downloading the torrent from P.... bay and it has a readme file in it so let's wait and see.
If all goes well it should be done in 20 hours.

i figured you had your drive in multiple partitions.

torrent portal and BTjunkie have a few more seeders you can add them all to your download. if you are downloading the 3.30gig file

the 3.3.gig and the 3.30 gig is the same file click on both of these files sizes and add all seeders. these are the instructional videos that i made also

see pic i posted below you can find more seeders by using a free program called bit che .
it will search all the most popular torrent sites . and you can click on the same link from differnt sites and it will add all the seeders to your download . see pic
the 3.30 gig file is a torrent i put together a few years ago .it has instructional videos on how to burn an iso how to install the program . not sure which one you are downloading .
also you don't have to download all of it again .just before you add the torrent to your torrent program it should give you the option to select what files you want to download from that specific torrent or

pic two shows option after opening torrent to untick or deselect what you don't want to download.

i clicked on all the 3.30 files in bit che and am downloading it at over 200KB/s

still showing only 5 seeds tho .ouch expected completion 5 hours. starting now.

I'm downloading the 3.9 Gig at the moment and should be ready in 15 minutes or so. The average speed is 110Kb/s with 2 seeds. I think I'm gonna download the avi files from your torreny also.
So this keeps me busy for the rest of the day,

2 more questions

Hi Jake,

I have 2 more questions, but first the problem.
The program works but............. after filling out the first 3 screens and hitting F10 I get the message to put in the correct CD. See pic below.


I saw in your video that you settings were "Hard disk" and mine are CD Rom. How did you do that. I also saw that you extracted one huge file and replaced the existing TMCMSTW2 file with the new data. Mine looks like this..

Every folder is bigger then 500Mb.
I have to unzip 20 files to iso files and from there burn 20 discs. I can't get it to work that the program is only using the H disk without asking for CD's.
What is the trick?

it is asking for discs because that is how you set it up .
some of my videos that are out there are for installing a different package that i had put togehter that i used to sell. ie. extracting one huge file .if that is the video you are asking about ignore..
you are on the right track .

to get it to not ask for the disc's your right you need to set it up as hard disc

during cd setup ,hit add ,a window pops up and change that option from cd-rom to hard disc and hit ok .
following the on screen instructions of putting in the correct cd it asks for depending on how you do it .it could ask you for the same cd again .verifieing that you have the disc's ,so you will have to read the small print carefully . just keep following the on screen instructions installing the disc's to hard disc and your done. see pic

OK fixed this too. The confusion is in the first program install. You have to answer the questions where you want the program? Answer = C Where do you want the data? Answer (in my case) = H how many cd players =1 which drive letter = E. So after answering these questions I assumed that that was the final set up, not knowing that at the first CD set up and selecting CD-Rom it only installs the basic files In the H drive for selecting Type, model, year, etc.
Following your advice I had to put in all the CD's again and this time it took much more time for every disc to install.

OK, now I'm the happy owner of an EPC program.
Time to check it out if I see the same stuff compared to toyodiy.com. I think I already found a strange thing but I have to make sure that I see it right. I'll keep you posted.

Has anyone downloaded "Toyota EPC 01.2010 - 04-05.2010 (Update 26.07.2010)"

I would assume this is the microcat version but it says only .339 is available with one seed coming on once in a blue moon.

I have also downloaded another torrent for the microcat but it give me error codes when installing, I could take screen shots if it would help out.
