that one you are after is not the microcat version it is the EPC3 version .
i have never found the microcat for download on any torrent site . it is on fileshare,fileserve,filesonic,bitshare,usershare tho

google this Toyota Microcat LIVE 01.2011 you may get lucky and find a link .

I would assume this is the microcat version but it says only .339 is available with one seed coming on once in a blue moon.

I have also downloaded another torrent for the microcat but it give me error codes when installing, I could take screen shots if it would help out.

Hi Everyone

So, I downloaded all 4.36GB from Toyota EPC3 Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) 2008.11 Complete (download torrent) - TPB

It was downloaded in 7 sections. When I open a section there are a few .isz files in each section. Will someone please give me a few quick step by step instructions on how to go from here? Do I have to somehow unzip these .isz files, or what program do I use to open them? And then? Thanks
 
you can download or piratebay ultra ISO latest version .
right click on the isz file and open it with utra iso and either extract it or using the tools tab burn the file to create the disc. ISZ file is another type of disc image. such as the standard ISO file

the isz files are the disc images of all 29 install media discs .

DAEMON Tools will work also to extract mount or burn the image.

ISO CD DVD image creator, editor and ISZ DMG DAA UIF to ISO converter - UltraISO can extract/create/edit/convert CD and DVD image files directly, make bootable CDs and convert ISZ DMG DAA UIF to ISO.

Hi thanks for the instructions. I will try this when I get home tonight. Just a couple more things. With Ultra ISO, there is an icon that says make a CD and then one that says burn a CD. So I presume that the make a CD is where you create a virtual CD. Is that what most peple would suggest - make virtual CD's instead of burning all 29?

Also, is there an .exe file somewhere to launch the program or is that integrated as a setup step once the program opens? Thanks
 
the make a cd button is for creating a cd image (ISZ file) of a physical disc already in your cd/dvd rom drive. .which you are not doing here.
if you want to mount the disc image you want to use the button that says mount to virtual drive.
if you look at the files you downloaded one folder should be called PROGRAM this will be the first isz
file you would burn or mount and then run the setup to install the proram all the other isz files are the data/catalogs the program used to search for parts . they are in folders buy region .pick your region and then burn to disc or virtual mount them and install the data info into the program .

Thanks. That is very helpful info. I think I'm getting it and will give it a try tonight. I saw the PROGRAM section there. I suppose the bit about "install the data info into the program ." will be self explanatory once I get that far?
 
Hey thanks again for the guidance. I got the program installed and all the CD's mounted. I got as far as the configuration step, but am having a few issues figuring out what all to put into the various fields. I have the installation manual, so I will take a stab at it again tonight.
 
Hi, first off thanks for the EPC resource.

Question: does the 2008 microcat work with WindoZe 7?

At the Data Setup when i try to copy the files from the mounted image to my harddrive, i click ok on the first dialog box, and then the second box shows up, but just hangs. The drive where i am copying it to is empty.

I will try to run it on XP.
 
not sure if anybody is still downloading these .but here is a new one which is portable .
no more installing to your hard drive . i downloaded it from mulitiple links at once and got it in an hour .
it is based on the EPC3 version . it is kinda neat to have it run directly off the dvd or a thumb drive. dated 07-20011

How do you download from multiple links?
I use uTorrent and I'm downloading now for more then an hour and I have only 10.7% up to now.

heres one way i can suggest using utorrent .this may help
click on each individual link and add the seeders and leechers from each torrent site
a couple of these sites have more users on it ,which can speed up your utorrent download .
just click on each individual download ,then the torrent file hit open on the files provided no need to save each torrent file utorrent will tell you ,you are already downloading the same file and ask you if you want to add seeders and leachers to your download just say yes and this should speed things up for utorrent . utorrent also has advanced settings for speeding things up ,such as telling it to use your maximum bandwith availalble .and right click on the files in the bottom window and set the files priority to High .link to more torrents of the same file. click on them all accept maybe the top one for direct dowload.

It seems that you need Safari to get it downloaded. IE and Chrome crash at the last minute I'm told. Never tested it with FF.

Ha!!! Got it working finally. Think I got some bad versions of the net. Had to go dig out an old extrenal hard drive wtih the old version on it.

Seem to have the USA stuff working and I think that the general is installed as well.

Will be venturing into a 1UZ swap from 92 Lexus SC400 and would love to have the Lexus version working as well.

I have gone through the above instructions and when I click on cd Setup, Lexus code comes up in the little box and I tried both these codes and nothing. Still unauthorized. are these instructions still current and working as far as anyone knows?

I am using the OLD version that looks like the first computer program ever written.....not the nice modernish looking one with the blue background.
