Fellas. I recently attached a tow hitch to my LX that I bought from Scottydog. Thanks again Scott. My question is how many psi should the bolts be applied with onto the hitch and frame? Also, is it best to attach the circular pull thingys (don't know exact name) that were already attached to the frame? Attaching them takes some of the thread away from bolts attaching to hitch and frame. Is it that crucial? Thanks again fellas.

First off I think you mean ft lbs. not PSI. Anyhow I don't have the answer to that I would just crank them as hard as I could because I doubt I would break them.

As for the recovery hoops I guess your Cruiser came with those since it didn't have a hitch. But don't think you can have both on well at least mine had the hitch and no hoops.

My hitch had the loops when I got it. As long as the bolt threads don't fall short of making it all of the way through the threaded portion of the frame, you're fine.

I don't know the torque spec either but I'd guess 80-100 foot pounds.

The circular things are called tow hooks and IIRC the ft lbs on those bolts is 75. Trust me...I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night! Seriously, I do remember the spec from installation of my own OEM tow hitch and replacing it with my Kaymar rear bumper that uses the same bolt holes and the same torque specs.

Oops. rXF is ft/lb.. Thanks for the specs fellas. I had to use a breaker bar to loosen the bolts. I used the breaker bar to tighten the bolts as well. I realized that the force I was applying with the breaker bar was enough to snap the bolts if I would have kept going. I saw a cruiser today and noticed that the recovery hoops or tow hooks were attached along with the tow hitch.

Damn, I got riped off then! No hoops errr hooks on mine. So are they literally hooks and not hoops like what is in front? Not that it matters I have some nice recovery points on my Hanna bumper that were well abused before I got it.
