What have people been paying lately and is this wort hit considering all the tools?

One recently sold for $1k on Ebay, wouldn't at all be surprised if it were one in the same.
Forgot to add that was almost twice the going rate. at the time..........

I sent out a "hello" on that last tool roll as the seller seemed to be from Tucson.

I haven't heard back yet? the seller advertised that he/she had other early parts yet to be listed.

I know alot of the cruiser guys in town, and no one I know has any idea who the seller is.

I thought the woman who bought the first tool roll that sold for $1000 was from Des Moines, IA?

When I started this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/482549-70-fj40-whats-worth.html a few years back I think JohnnyC got it right when he said the tool kit was worth more sold separetly. Not more than the cruiser in these case. At the end of the day I ended buying this cruiser for myself. The tool kit along with my other early 60 tool kit are locked in a safe. My wife doesn't don't understand my cruiser adiction. When I told here what these tool kits are selling for all she had to say is I needed to catalog all my parts and what they are worth in case something happened to me so she just didn't give it anyway thinking it's worthless. Or maybe she has something else in mind.
