@TomasAllan Thanks for the tip on Super Clean, and perfect timing too. MAJOR wash and wax job is on the agenda for my 200 this weekend. Question on the Super Clean: it's safe on plastic (under the hood), I presume?

@Tommy Dwyer anytime brother, been using it for a while without issues, I got the tip from a buddy of mine who works on cars and has been using it for years with no issues, just don't forget to dilute the stuff. The one area I'd be light about it is aluminum (Icon Shocks and others) as it tends to stain them if your'e not careful.

I wish I had a before picture but my engine compartment was a bit nasty prior to that last cleaning.

Thanks! And great work on your Cruiser, well done!

Question on your Gobi ladder. Can you post some detailed pictures of it as it meets the actual roof line and the roof rack? I'm curious if it would work in conjunction with my Eezi-Awn roof rack?

Thanks in advance.

Really nice truck!

Can you tell us more about that wiring you had and switches? I looked up Bussman and can't find the product anymore. Did you just buy it or you have had it for a while? Thank you for your time.

Nice build thread. Got right to business. I added it to the FAQ

Tip for folks - when you have a signature defining your rig you can also turn it into a hyperlink to your build thread like mine

@i4c4lo ... Good Morning, yes I am not sure you will find them, just contact "Erik Johnson" at "wiredwagon@comcast.net" and tell him your'e looking for the relay box, mention my name and he will get you hooked up with one, he's out of Utah I believe and is pretty fast at putting them together.

For the Switches I went with Air on Board as they fit that factory look and feel, I looked up the Tundra 2008+ since they didn't have an LC category.

For the wiring I went with (Home Depot bought) 14 gauge stranded wire, ran it through the driver's side firewall grummet and tapped into existing switches for "ignition on" and "accessory lights", for the accessories themselves as I said I ran the cables through the windshield channel (edge on driver and passenger sides) very carefully, use lube and it will make your life easier.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! That definitely helps. I think this just might work with the K9 Eezi-Awn rack! I'll check their return policy just in case it doesn't fit, hopefully I can return it.

Actually, I have another request! Can you take another shot with the lift gate open so I can see how close the ladder comes to the rack?

Also, did you have to drill any holes for mounting or is the mounting hardware clamps? Never mind, I found the install instructions on their website!

Could you add one more side shot with the back gate up, I have a different brand rack and am wondering if it will clear.

Thank you in advance,

Mark in Marietta

Give me a few and I'll take some pics.

For the ATL folks, I'm heading up to Charlies Creek in a few, planning on camping tonight with the fam...... In case anyone feels like coming up.

We'll be either at the Tallulah River Campground or at Tate Branch Campground.. I hope :))

Thank you for the pictures, are you going to the Georgia cruisers fall event 20 min north of cumming on the 22 of this month?
