I noticed a little toggle switch down there today. Anyone know what it controls?

It looks kinda like this.

Probably an alarm valet switch. Maybe from an alarm that has been removed, since you don't know what it's for.

I have one too - it drives me crazy that I can't figure out what is does(did). I have a birds nest of old alarm wiring under the kick panel. I pulled an armful of it out one day along with the stock subwoofer and the aftermarket trailer hitch trying to track down a clicking sound when I applied the brakes. the clicking went away at some point before I got to the switch so I quit.

Alarm Valet switch, I think it turns off the Alarm siren... or maybe the entire alarm and just enables the door locking/unlocking feature.

I have two switches in my kickpanel for a Viper 160XVL remote car starter.

One is a momentary switch that is used for the "valet function" and the other is a toggle switch (free floating, not secured anywhere) that is a kill switch for the remote starting function.

Hope this helps; tracing the wires will give you more insight than I can.
