amazing photos Ken!
I went to show my wife the pic of us entering the crack. She said,"i don't ever want to see that crack again!"

I said," THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!!!"

ah, good times. When are we going again?

Hah, good times man! I think we're getting the band back together next summer for another crack at it:) Thanks for the props on the pics, I still got hundreds more pics to go through!

Looks like the entire trail is BLM land so instead of pulling an all nighter I say, next time, we bring extra fuel, booze, eats and camp out.

Good luck staking a tent down to those rocks!

Wait, this seems like an excellent excuse to pick up one of those Trail Tailor RTTs :-D

I had 2 of the 3 in the fridge @kreiten hauled back for us.

BTW, still owe you a frosty beverage for the troubles.

Now that we know there is an amazing water park for the kiddos, maybe I can sneak away solo for a day, easier to camp that way.

I sleep in my cargo area. But I rarely stake down when I use a ground tent, mostly due to laziness. Tie it up to a tree if you're worried about it blowing away with if you can't stake in.

Also, I was just looking through the maps
There's a route that'll probably take three days too. For the adventurous.

We're going to do another 2 week trip somewhere out west next summer. I'm interested to see where the LCDC ends up - if it's in CO or UT we'll likely end up back in Moab. Whenever we go back, my wife wants to do the White Rim trail, which is definitely an overnighter. I've seriously considered leaving the travel trailer at home and staying in a tent most of the trip if we mostly do overnight exploration.

@TexAZ, if I come I'll likely have my kids with me. Not sure who else had kids on the Moab trip (I don't count @kreiten since his daughter is older) but everyone elses ability to tolerate my kids is probably the limiting factor for how much we wheel :-)
