I think dieseldog has them on one of his cruisers... Try searching the the 7x or diesel forum. He covered them pretty well..

Funny this came up in my search for dealing with these. I have that Cruiser now (BJ73) and am confounded on bleeding these calipers - 4 bleeders per caliper and you can not get a wrench on them. And since two of the bleeders are pointing to the sky they are packed with dirt. Lovely.

There is no reason to crack the bottom bleeders. I know to bleed the inboard bleeder first. An 8mm socket fits but one can not put a hose on the bleeder and open/close it. I did it by packing rags all around and just spilling dot 3 everywhere. What an absolutely stupid design.

Now I am searching for pads and have no idea what part number to search from SSBC.

linky no worky for me
Yeah, me neither.
And BTW, if I need to rebuild these I dunno what parts I need or if SSBC-USA even would have the seals since SSBC OG went out of business before restarting as a supplier of brakes parts for US brands.
I do have the part numbers from TLC4X4 and believe they may have been the old SSBC o-ring nunbers.

So gurus - what should go in their place on a BJ73? 4-Runner Calipers?
(Yes - I realize this is the 40 section.)
