Lol...I forgot and had to go check.Which surface did you mount yours on? The flat bottom of the slider, the flat bottom of the frame, the 1/2" flared portion of the slider pointing "in," or the 1/2" flared portion of the slider pointing "out."
Same. I initially tried the AHC plate facing outward, but you can see the strips/lights through the dimples. I didn't like that, so I faced them inwards. Looks much better as you only see the "glow" of the light opposed to the LEDs themselves.Lol...I forgot and had to go check.
It is on the ahc plate towards the inside of the vehicle.
Figured, since these bolts aren’t that big.Gudentite
I just installed mine today and I too have a 1.5 inch NST Body Lift on my LX. Love the look but would love to close up the gap a little bit to hide the AHC equipment underneath. Have you found any solution?Hey. I just installed the flat w kickout on my 570 and i have a NST Spec 1.5" body lift. There is definitely room to move the supports up but it will be some trickery to weld the support legs as the support bolt holes are spaced so that getting the support leg in there and welding it properly will be tricky. And then you also still have to support the AHC protection if you want it installed so would need additional bracket mods for that. Happy to take whatever pics you'd like to see!
No solution yet . I am planning on pulling them off soon to repaint so ill have a better look at moving everything up to accommodate the lift. It'll be June before ibget anything figured out. Planning suspension work right now. Sliders are next! Ill report back.I just installed mine today and I too have a 1.5 inch NST Body Lift on my LX. Was thinking of making each of the mounting holes a little bigger to give it even half an inch room to slide the slider up further and give it that much more room to close the gap. Thinking it that would be the easiest way I can think without doing any major fabrication. Only issue would be to monitor how close the globes get to the protection plate to make sure they aren’t touching or too close if I do this.
