So I bought the T13 from Slee and they shipped it. Ordered it on a Thursday and got it on Monday. The shop finally got the rest of the deer strike damage repaired and started the bumper install and found that the light kits that are supposed to be in the box weren’t. Called Slee, they called TJM and they’ll ship the missing parts ASAP but the catch is TJM is changing wharehouses or something and doesn’t currently know where any of there stuff is. When they find the parts they will send them.

Since I don’t know when this will be and my truck is my daily driver, I’m going to have to complete the bumper install without the lights and drive the truck until the lights come in and install then.

How difficult will that be? Will I have to take the bumper off to install the lights?

Update: finally got my Cruiser back from the shop, 6 week and $24,700 (includes Toyota re-man transmission) from the day we hit the deer. Thank god for insurance. The T13 is awesome. Still no lights as TJM USA still can’t find anything to ship because they are still moving inventory from one place to another. They tell me it could still be a couple weeks.

Does anyone know if there is a front camera relocation kit for T13 on a 200 series? The bumper is great but it makes the from camera almost unusable. In 4L, the projected tire path graphics are on top of the bumper.

Still looking for some info on the front camera and T13. I’ve also discovered my cruise control doesn’t work now. The Toyota dealer says I need to remove the number and recalibrate the cruise control. That sounds nuts. I’m pretty sure I could run the cruise control with the radar shut off before so even if the bumper interferes with the radar, why can’t it just run without the radar now?

Did you try to set the cruise control to standard by holding the cruise control lever towards the dash?

I agree with @M1911 . When turned on, the cruise control starts in Radar Cruise Control mode, I think you need to switch to normal cruise control mode that does not use the radar. Here's how:

Yes I tried that and it didn’t work. As soon as you press the on off button (step 1 from manual) it throws a “check cruise control” error and the pushing the lever froward step does nothing.

One thing that is different in my situation is that everything on the front of the vehicle has been replaced including camera and radar sensors. Maybe that is causing an issue that normally doesn’t happen with just the bumper replacement.

I assume you needed to replace the camera and radar sensors due to the deer strike? If so, did the shop that fixed the deer strike damage do a recalibration? Did you test out the radar cruise and camera after they completed their repairs and before they/you installed the bumper. @brasskey has a TJM on his LC and has not had these issues (though the camera may pick up a bit of the bumper on the bottom). I'm not sure why the bumper needs to be removed to re-calibrate the cruise control unless it is necessary to get access. But I can definitely imagine that when your front end damage from the deer strike was fixed that the cruise may not have been calibrated correctly.

As for experience with the TJM bumper, I would contact @brasskey

I also don't see why you should need to remove the bumper to recalibrate, it's easy to reach the sensor from above if you just remove the plastic cover between the radiator and grille. Maybe they are thinking the bullbar section is interfering?

Yes the camera and entire grill had to be replaced due to the deer strike. The shop did not do a recalibration of the cruise control. I didn’t realize the problem until a few weeks later when I tried to use it. The Toyota dealer that is associated with the body shop is saying the bumper needs to be removed to do the calibration. I think that is just the first answer from the tech who looked at it. The dealers here don’t really know anything about LC as there are not that many and as soon as you start modifying with aftermarket parts, your kind of on your own.

I talked to Slee today and they said they haven’t seen this problem. The guy I talked to thought there was a camera relo kit for the T13 but wasn’t sure if that applied to my 2013. They will get back to me next week.

I’m going to research CC recalibration procedures there’s gotta be something out there.

Thanks for the update. Keep us posted, this is my current top choice for a front bumper.

finally got the light kit from TJM. Need some help wiring the blinkers. Seems like all I need to do is splice into eack blinker wire. The accached pic shows what I think is the right blinker bulb. Is this right? If so, how do I remove the bulb? I’m afraid to pull on it too hard as I don’t want to break it.

Turn the housing 1/4 turn to the left counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise) then pull straight out. Very easy.

View attachment 1889489 Got the blinker out. The TJM wiring harness has 3 wires (yellow, white, and brown). The blinker looks like it has 3 wires until you take it apart (see pic). What’s up with the white wire?

Beautiful, thank you!

Anyone using a warn zeon 12-s with this bumper? Is the free spool level easily accessible along with the remote port?
Planning on getting this bumper and debating between 12-s or 12-s platinum. Thanks!

Yes.
Mine has been flawless.

About the control unit placement...
Be aware that the Platinum’s wireless receiver is located in what would normally be the control unit.
That’s why I mounted mine on top of the bumper rather than buried down with the winch (see photo...that’s the 12-S Platinum). You can also add a rIsed receiver into a higher position in the engine bay, but placing it on the bumper goes a long way.

There IS room within the bumper, but I’m glad I kept mine high and out of the mud/water that could wirelessly matter in some extreme situations.

I love that knuckleheads can’t release the clutch in my absence...because it’s released via the remote. Local morons have been known to pull people’s lines out...

PS. Notice the small make-shift stand-offs used on mine. Turns out the T13 extends less than an ARB, and the bumper mount plate is overly deep (front to back). The mounts pointed to are just about perfect:
