Tire and wheel decision woes

What wheel/tire setup do you recommend for 99.7% on road Los Angeles driving?

Does this statement still apply if I reiterate my previous post about how very little off-road use my vehicle gets? In all the time I've owned I've taken it on a dirt road once for about 5 miles. That's it. On road only. Grocery getter. I like the curb protection of a tall tire since I parallel park about 10 times a week.

I think I've pretty much decided on Goodyear AT Adventure in 285/70 on rock warrior wheels.

update---oops, didn't realize you'd already done the tires too. Looks great. That tire is basically like my set of BFG AT Ko2 in terms of tread. You shouldn't have to think about tires for years now....

For anyone else considering a less aggressive tire: I use a few sets of tires on wheels and what I've found over the past year is that the non-aggressive tire (Michelin M/S2 in a 32" 275/65x18 E load range) has been fantastic pretty much all the time even testing it for air-down and traction at a local ORV park named Tahuya in WA near Tacoma. KReiten is familiar with the place. I ran all the trails except a crazy boulder garden I probably wouldn't try no matter what kind of tire due to the depth of it.

I'm not sure what the Adventure is like but I'd recommend these as something for you to consider. Prefect for all forest roads and from my outing, really fine on gravel rough terrain too.

Ok I'm done. TRD Rock Warrior wheels powder coated black. Faux bead locks powder coated black. New bead lock hardware, cad plated bolts. Here is a picture of the finished wheel in my living room and then a picture of the wheels only on my vehicle. The powder coating place, whom I had quite some trouble with only finished one of my bead locks. So I only have one on my spare.

Looks clean/good.

Not sure what you mean about new bead locks.

New bead lock hardware. In the picture of just the single wheel you can see the hex head bolts as opposed to the torx bit bolts that come standard on the TRD RW wheels. I just didn't like that look of them so I went with something with more of a rugged look, in my opinion. Needs to be rugged for the grocery store parking lot and all the 4way intersection time it will be accumulating.
