Air die grinder, gloves and a hammer chisel (and a face guard). Inner race and BB's can fall out. Grind a slot almost all the way through the outer race then use the chisel and hammer to chip it out. Works great and is fast. Gloves are for the small needle like shavings that WILL get into your arms and hands. Did I mention the face mask??!?!?

Headed home with my new hammer. That's plan B.

Nope.

Trophy.

For a 80-84 FJ60 you need to grind out a couple of spots on the bellhousing.

This is a nice trick for stabbing the transmission.

Put a tight strap on the throwout bearing arm and keep it under pressure so it's not flopping around while you are trying to do the mating ritual

My little helper let me get the transmission up on the jack

Stuffed nice and easy

Got the Trail Tailor shifter kit in the paint booth. This is another part needed for the 80-84 H55 swap. Longer shifter linkage.

While I was filling the cases with 90wt I did the differentials.

Measured and ordered new shafts from Tom Woods. They will be here next week. The best service ever. 24.5" front. 42" rear.

Finishing up for the day. Oil plug was leaking. This is not the proper washer.

That plug was clapped out so it's retired.

Went to my burn pit and torched off all of the boxes and old s***. One of the shocks blew up and went into the nearby woods and caught them on fire.

I woke up at 1:30 am and could not sleep. I flopped until 2:30 and just got up and went to work.

Before.

Issues.

The AC condenser has been ruined. Someone tried to fix it but ruined it in the process. I had one here pre tested and ready. Turns out it's an 85+ and it's not the same. s***. I've got @TractorWagons looking for me one.

I have a new CSF radiator. This one is bad. The PO completely jacked up all of the plumbing when taking the rear heater out of the loop. It was comical the way they had hoses routed.

Battery tray was rusted out. I have a good used one here.

I think that's all the problems I currently have so that's not bad. I'll get back from Powder and start cleaning and rebuilding.

That AC condenser is criminal..

Little s***. No pattern just slapping stuff on.

Both the Alt and Air pump were missing tensioners. I had some here.

Single water pipe. Eliminates the rubber plug you add when rear heat is deleted.
