Lil help please.
Does anyone know the thread size and pitch for this heater petcock coming off the head of a 2F Engine?

1/2" BSPT is the correct size. 1/2" NPT is close so you can make it work. They both have the same thread pitch of 14 tpi but the taper is different.
When ordering 1/2" BSPT fittings on Amazon or Ebay, who knows what you 'll get. I've ofthen found they fit no better than 1/2" NPT and I don't have to means to know if it really is BSPT with lousy machining or just simply NPT passed off as BSPT. Good luck!

It may be BSPP, meaning parallel and not tapered threads.
