truck price

I dont htink I would PUT a price on my truck, but if someone were to happen to offer me that kind of money, I doubt I could turn it down.

It's just metal. I could make another one that looked exactly like it to the finest detail, or I could make one with some new gizmos and tricks I found along the way.

Either way, you have to admire his optimism in pricing it that way.

I hope he sells it for that. It would make it easier to justify to my wife why I spend so much time and money on my 45 project. :D

I forwarded that to my wife to check out! :D

Now, if AAtlas1x would only get those red seat covers in leather

It's not even stock.

But on the other hand....what do people pay for an ICON, which looks just like a 40 but has all the modern upgrades.

100K eh? Hmm....may justify my LV project if it sells! :) Don't think the seller is a MudH8R

for that price you would think they would hide the booty fab wiring job under the dash ??

It's so bad it doesn't need an air cleaner or intake at all!!!

At least he got the bezel on right, so I can't fault it too much. The bodywork looks pretty good.

I too hope he gets half of that at least, it would only drive the value of my HJ up....

Even it all the questionable fabrication items were repaired to the level they should be I am not sure someone would be willing to spend that kind of money. But in CA you never know. Johnathan at TLC gets that kind of money for his rigs but his work it very nice.

i ask him if it was typo
here is his answer
No 100K. The body of restoration of the body took a year and a half and cost over 15K alone. No bondo 5K dollar paint.

adds up

that makes sense then.... if he paid a shop $25 an hour for a year and a half.... thats $78K, plus his fabulaous $5K paint.... plus hte $3.50 that the original cruiser must have cost to require 3000 hours of shop time.... why, he would barely be clearing $20K out of the deal....

Curious whether he said he did the work himself or had it done in a shop. You know San Jose and all, just makes me think BTB back in the day.
