Third member/ ring and pinion

Anyone know where to get a drop in third member for the rear diff with 3.70 gears for 1980 fj40...OR...a complete rear axle for an 81/82 40? seems like everyone is out of the ring and pinion at that ratio that I've called. also thinking of going to a 5 speed trans with a newer split T-case...etc....

They don't have them.

any diff, front or rear from late 1979 thru 1987 will work for you
the later diffs may need the flange swapped out
40 or 60 series, US spec, had 3.70 ratio

I think I've still got some but shipping is high these days

You may have to buy ring and pinion sets and have them dialed in.
