WTF!! @KWalkerM graduating? Who the hell did you bribe man? Just kidding bro congrats on your high school diploma? :hillbilly::hillbilly::lol::lol::flipoff2:

Right on dude, congrats on graduating! I'm stuck waiting until fall quarter for one of my last few classes to come up.

I'll definitely shoot you a text when we're headed up. We're planning on driving up early Friday morning, leaving Sunday. My Dad and his buddies always fish Sardine Lake, so if I cant get a text through you'll probably be able to find me there.
Well I broke the cruiser so I only have my little blue hoopty driving right now so I can't do any wheeling but I think I can get my boat to lower sardine though I broke the motor on that last year. Let me know haha

Since when has breaking your cruiser stopped you from driving it? What'd you break this time?

Kind of fried like everything electric again like last year haha this time it's the starter though and not the whole truck! Also my dash isn't in pieces, I just need to drop a junction block in instead of those fusible link wires. It's been sitting for the past 2 months because I'm waiting for parts to smog too

Well if it's not ready for the Gold Rush this year I'll let you spot and stack rocks for me all damn day again! :)

Well... we didn't quite get the weather we were expecting for how close it is to June, but it sure was cool being up there this weekend!

One interesting thing I noticed was that they are closing the boat launch area at Gold Lake to repave the parking lot. I don't think that this will block off the the entire road down to the lake from the Gold Lake Hwy, but it is something that we will have to keep in mind as we get closer to the event.

You look really cold haha
I'll look into the paving thing. I highly doubt that there will be a closure to the trailhead. That is a main artery for the backside into the tahoe NF

No bonfire and now closure? WTF!! Maybe I will buy a Bon fire in a can if I have any extra cash before the trip. :grinpimp:

I got bored and decided to make a rather unique sticker. I printed 25 of the colored ones and they didn't come out. The green is too dark and the blue is purple. Trying some alternative ideas to morph the color correctly and get em on the way to everybody.

But on the bright side, I made this one the other day:

Whoa what is this? @MaK92 4RnR i would love to have some of this man, print some more.

Just the boat launch will be closed. The campsites next to it and the 4x4 trail will be open. Currently the snow is right at the end of the last camp so none of the ridge trails are accessible right now without tracks.
Trail seems tamer right now too. All the technical stuff got pretty well filled in it seems

Wow , just stumbled across this thread, have not been to gold lake since the orig. Poker Runs.im moving BACK to Ca. Hope to attend next year. Who puts this on and how do I stay in loop?
@KWalkerM @Finnyfam60 and I usually do most of the planning, just keep an eye on the "trails and events" section of the forum for next year's thread to come up. (Usually sometime in the early spring)

We also usually end up posting photos from the trip here in this thread after each event, so check back in July if you're interested in seeing those!
