For the close-minded......the LC died when the 55 came out, then the 60, then the 80.......then the 100........follow me?
Love the dual batteries on that one. Do they use a seperator or just in parallel?
If it's like previous Toyota diesels, it uses 24V to turn the starter, then runs on 12. Technically not a dual-battery system.
Puzzled - did someone actually put a '08 Highlander and a 200 side by side and take pics? I'd like to see those.
I'd like to see that too......![]()
I see a LOT of similarity. I hate to say that too....
To each their own...old topic...
Don't take that the wrong way. I don't like some of the things Toyota is doing these days. Building a 200 series Cruiser without a shifter for 4 wheel drive is kind of like a blasphemy for me. The body style looks very highlander to me as well. I too have endured my own measure of $hit about the new FJ, so don't get upset.
Trust me I am not upset. I have been there and done that on this topic. I seriously mean "To each their own...."
All I know is that it kicks ass off the roads I ahve been on...that makes me happy.![]()
First, I agree with everyone else. It should have a shifter knob, and it shouldn't look like a Highlander.
Second, anyone who says that they don't want one is lying. Just for the engine alone.
The only thing I want is the engine and I aint spending 71 Grand for it...............![]()
Not gonna pay 40 Grand either.
I will wait til a few get wrapped around trees and I'll salvage one an put it in the 80.
