Looking good Julian. When you back again? Got tied up with work while I was up in Maine and had no time to play.

I leave in 2 days but I will be home for good hopefully by thanksgiving!

I will be home on Thanksgiving around midnight. Out of the army for good, I am going to get into pipe-fitting through an apprenticeship program hopefully. Finish up the couple of little things I have left on the truck. Since it guzzles gas I will be getting some sort of commuting vehicle. Cant wait to be back with the truck.

Sadly I did not do measurements. I went with the 850J, 863 rear, with the arb in the front there is stinkbug still. I am hoping that when I get rear bumper it pulls down and matches front. I would say it went down some but I am not sure how much it did. It really depends on your setup.

Welcome back,
I have the j set up. I through on a iron pig rear bumper with swingout and my ass end is still high. It's fine with it though, once I throw the trailer and fridge and freezer in the back it's equal.

I am going to have to look at the iron pig rear, seems a popular choice a s of late. Priorities as of right now are to figure out if I am going to go into some apprentice program or school or what. While I have some time though I am going to catch up on cruiser things. Figure out my IPF lights on front and go through all my windows and figure out why my heat keeps cutting off. My IPF'S I believe need to be wired into highbeams and the windows are off there tracks and my heat I believe has a lose wire.

Still got plugs and wires also. Also need to fill in my roof holes and flare holes. Then going to make the wheels match the painted spare.

So I am talking to a local guy who does a lot of fab around here about making a rear bumper with design stolen from 4x4 labs, but ill talk to him and maybe come up with something original, who knows

Changed my plugs and wires, dont know why number 6 is so dreaded, wasn't any harder than others. Heres some pics of the plugs in order from front to back, they are not that bad I dont think but off my pm list for awhile.

I also went snow wheeling this weekend with some MAINE4X4 guys. The 80 didnt get stuck or stumble over anything. Its awesome truck. I only have a few pics of it in action sadly.

When the jimmy with us broke I decided to cut through a different path and knocked into a tree. It didn't seem like a big hit and only left a little scuff on the tree but was enough to knock the right wing of ARB into the 80 and leave a dent. Not a big deal but I can see it wont last forever and I was kinda disappointed by how easy it got dented.

I forgot the camera today but I will take some pics later. I had a grinding coming from rear left brake. I took off wheel today and the inner pad wasnt even in the caliper it was hanging out. Completely worn down to the circle marks. I got pads and rotors from napa and ordered reman calipers. I would have gone with oem but I dont want wait. Tmrw I will go back and see if the caliper works when i punch the brake or if its frozen up. Hopefully works and I can just replace pads and rotors.

So I ended up putting new pads and rotor on left rear. Fixed! My girl is in need of a new battery, so I took this as time to take out my perfectly good one and put it in her car, it will work fine for her and gives me excuse to install a 31m! Trimmed where needs trimming, got longer j hooks and little piece of angle steel and cut to fit and bam it is in. The wiring needs o be stretched, some snips and yanks and it will work. But looks good and fits real snug!

Not to be a stick in the mud because you seem like a great guy. The issue here is that I have seen a few local "off road" groups be not so "environmentally" friendly. My brother has a good junk of land with a high line running thru the middle of it. He owns the land and the power company has an easement to run the lines. That is not the normal way it is done, but it was on his land. It is VERY discouraging to go out on your own property and find a new path made next to an old mud hole that some one recently got stuck in. Oh ya, there are also new empty beer bottles around. There was one morning we went out and found a truck still stuck and it had a local clubs sticker on it.

Any way, your comment is the type of thing that the "clubs" should be against. Otherwise, their regular trails will be CLOSED.

I apologize for the rant but I have personally seen both sides. That is why it is so hard to find nice ATV trails around here.

You miss understand, this was at All Wheel in Lewiston first so it was on land meant for wheeling and second, it was a designated trail just not one being used that day. I did not rip a new one, just one that wasn't being used that day. The 80 is more capable than a lot of the guys I go with so that trail was not being taken cause rigs wouldn't make it through. Sorry for misunderstand but I promise I was where I was allowed to be.... side note tree was fine just not bumper!
