I know about the money haha, the junk for 80s is not cheap! This tour been real quite luckily, everyone in our battalion has been hit but our battery, sadly last tour we didn't fair so well and lost 3. This is almost over though and then back to the best country ever! The truck is in Maine sadly and before I am back to her I have to go back to Lewis to acap. I wish it was there though because the pacific northwest has some awesome wheeling, one the things I will miss about fort lewis the most.

ARB bumper and sliders are in mail long with couple other doodads! Iron Pig skid came in!

Hey bud looking good! Hit me up when your state side, I'm from Mass but we have places in Maine as well (OOB and Rome). Do some wheeling but more Overlanding, trying to stay away from the technical body altering obsticles. And check out Yankee Toys sometime. Good group of guys with alot of 80 series knowledge.

Even though it I am getting out of the army on Nov. 25 I am staying in Washington state! So I might be driving it out or shipping it, not sure yet. So looks like I will be joining the pacific northwest group of cruiser fans! Sorry Maine guys!

Ok so I am not staying in Washington and I am home in Maine! I put the arb on in front, went real easy! I took off the rear spoiler and the factory roof rack. Some the screws stripped and some the nut inserts rotated so I ended up hacksawing off. I bought some sealant too fill all these holes until they get welded up! I also took of side steps, those were simple, hardest spot is the rear bracket by the body mount but got them off! My better half said I could get a welder but I still think I will just pay to get the sliders put on ral quick. Its cold and wet out today so if it is nice tmrw I will try to do some of the remaining junk I have for it. I also got to take a look at brakes, the ABS light is on and I eed to fix both rear windows, they came off there tracks!

Will post pics soon! Still on to do list is the es9000s and 850j and 863s! Trim kit for inside, plus most the fluids and wires and plugs! Iron pig skid and bulbs! Ill keep it up to date! Anyone want to wheel, let me know when!

So I bought some more tools today! I love tools! I am wanting to do this stuff but watching my kid eats up my time, so next chance when mom is around and I can I am going to knock some stuff off of list!

Shocks ready along with springs, just waiting on me. The shocks seem firm atleast compared to the other ome's I had, they compressed without any effort. I was told I can buy a welder but I still might have someone weld them on real quick just to get em done! I got to figure out what to get for welder. I was thinking a mig? Any opinions?

Iron Pig does brake lines now! Well see how they go, my ABS light is ticking on and off so I need to figure that out! ARB was easy install! IPFs on but not hooked up, snatch strap and shackles on there for now, not sure if I will keep them there. Figure it atleast lets people see me.

Changed rear diff fluid today, let me know what you guys think? Gray grease on fill plug and you can see color of fluid. Then all these random pics of us just flexing her a bit to see how she goes! Flares are off, not nice, I just ripped em off, I will be filling holes one these days! Rear bumper sides too!

I love the 80s and my tires but 35s look to small for it, one day I will have to go with 37s!;) Thatll be a sad day........:flipoff2: I get horrible fuel mileage I doubt it would get any worse with bigger tires!

Cant tell with these pics but there is a lean in the front. I had put the A spring on driver side than went and put B on because thats what slee says to do. I had a lean both times, just with B on driver side its little less but still almost an inch difference. Do I need to use spacers to remedy this??
