I'm looking for the push type clip that holds the fender rail seal 53781-60020. The head of the clip is round. The shaft is a square flower with beveled corners, and the tip is flat not pointed. There are two 90467-12069 clips holding the 53781-60020 splash guard, and one unidentified push type clip. Could someone help? I have 2021 Land Cruiser

Pictures would really help, if possible. If not the actual parts, their specific locations.

Thread 'Stuff to keep on the shelf'

Some stuff is worth keeping on the shelf. For me what makes the list are small parts that could shut down work if needed (oil drain gasket), or stuff that is cheap and might make work easier if we had a handful sitting around to be used when needed (the clips that hold the fender skirts in).

The point here is I don't want work being stopped by some $1.20 part that the dealer has a dozen of, but I don't. I found it worth the investment to stock a bunch of little things just in case they are needed.

Before I get going, I'd like to try and adhere to a format here. Please post the part, if...

Hi, looking for the part number for the bezel that goes around the navigation screen. Picture attached for the reference, it’s the broken piece above the nav screen. This is a 2008 Land Cruiser, gray interior.

190k miles. It looks like one of the cooling lines that go to the oil cooler is dripping. Passenger's side, semi-close to the edge of the skid plate. I would've initially suspected water pump but that was done at 160k so it seems unlikely. The drip looks like it's coming from the rubber hose (or I assume where the rubber hose meets a hard line fitting) and I think that goes to the oil cooler, but TBH I can't easily tell atm and I don't have the time to drop the Slee skid to get a better view of this.

Anyone else have a good view of this spot? And more importantly does anyone know any of the part #s for the bits in this section, since I don't see any of the hoses or hard lines in a partsouq diagram :-/

IIRC you had your steering rack replaced? That probably meant removing the oil filter stand from the front of the engine? If so those hoses would have been disturbed and could contribute to a leak..

The two rubber hoses are 16295-38010
If you want to do the spring clamps with them it's 2x 96136-42101 and 2x 96136-52101

The o-rings that seal between the heat exchanger and oil filter stand only hold back engine oil, so the leak shouldn't be at that interface.

Thanks @bloc. Yes I had the steering rack replaced and almost surely this was removed and reinstalled and the original clamps are just weak 50k miles later. But if the hoses are cheap I’m a fan of replacing them at 200k just in case.

Those parts look like they’re short though. Is there a diagram somewhere of all the cooling lines? This seems further passengers side than the oil cooler and so either there’s another hose or there’s a different cooling hose right above this or something. I can’t exactly tell from the side of the skid

Edit: I think it might be 16283-38010, I found a photo that part looks different than the drawn version. Tyvm!

Geoff, this looks like the transmission cooler lines, but I can't tell for sure. There's a diagram on page 1242 of the (pdf version) of the Drivetrain Repair Manual (2013-)

The drip is coming from above that hard line I think. The hard line is wet but it’s the rubber line that’s very hard to see that’s directly above it that I think is leaking. I’m pretty sure it’s coolant - the drip is watery and eventually evaporates.

Now that my middle kid is off to college I have his beater sitting in the driveway so I parked the cruiser and I’m rolling his car as a DD for the moment until I can confirm
 
There are a handful of small lines near the top of the water pump and thermostat housing as well. Some going up to the throttle body, others to allow air to purge from high spots.

The coolant lines I listed above for the oil cooler are definitely toward the driver's side of the engine block.
 
Actually I take it back, took and look after work just now and this drip on the bottom of the pulley and belt makes me think the water pump didn’t last… 😂

Yeah.. you need to get the skid off to have a better look.
