Would be a little cousin. We have those two just nothing like big boys.

Plenty of those around. Only have to step outside to see them.

Unfortunately our time was cut under two months
This was out back. Elk are napping during the middle of the day.

Have a picture of one of the monsters sleeping. Head on the ground. Rarely see them that comfortable where they go sound asleep during the middle of the day with cabin all around.

As long as we're off topic here waiting for updates on the 43, these guys make me laugh. I was born and raised in Colorado and Wyoming..... Truth is stranger than fiction.

Maybe that's why I spent so much of my life in Australia. 🤔

Now THAT was funny!!!

I like that clip holding the brake hard lines to the firewall. Nice and clean. It seems like my old 4Runner had those too. Where can I pick up a couple of those? I checked Summit and RockAuto, no dice. I see AutoZone has some clips to hold hard lines to the firewall but I like the rubber isolator on that one.

These are OEM Toyota clips. Happy to send you some, have hundreds in stock in various sizes 8/10/12mm

down to that last 5% that takes all the time.. Shift boot adapter plate to use still-available 70 series H55f shift boot

AC and E-locker wiring ran and tucked into Josh's Painful harness

We also added a Toyota group 27 battery, and flipped it 180-degrees since the positive battery terminal was so close to the brake master with the battery relocation.

E-locker wiring secured to differental housing to provide strain relief for electrical connector via Toyota brake tube clip. Ignore improper length differential stud at 3-O'clock, that will get fixed

Wheel weights on these wheels just kissed the tie-rod end boot, so I had a set of 1/8" wheel spacers lasered. Cheap, easy, fast, thick enough to fix the problem, thin enough to still have plenty of engagment between lug nut and wheel studs.

exhaust time.. this is the first job on the brand new TIG welder I just upgraded to.

High and tight routing..
All material is Vibrant USA 304 stainless, some of the best out there. Not all 304 SS's are the same.

3FE 80a alternator upgrade with custom slider bar and 1FZ tensioner hardware for easy adjustment.. this is one of the last OEM remans from my stash. The perfect easy upgrade for non-US Cruisers with the alternator here, except for Toyota discontinuing the $130 OEM remans in 2024 :(
At least they are easy to rebuild and OEM parts are still avail, and cores abundant

The charge wire is real Sumitomo white/blue 6sq/mm wire, sourced from Japan. All terminals/connectors are genuin Yazaki as well.

Eventually she'll have 16x7" hubcap rims, so that'll solve that problem.

Should we put those spacers on the rear too or not necessary?

Spot-on. She was a JDM rig before going to Pakistan, so I'm hoping to actually bring her back up to the pre-Paki days.

If you need a JDM princess name, "Murasaki" (pronounced Moo Dah Saki) was a princess in ancient Japan. She was also a poet and artist and is credited with developing the writing in Japan.

How's that bit of knowledge for a guy originally from the backwoods of East Texas? I am a plethora of useless knowledge. 😁

New thread coming soon:

Useless Information… I’ve got several, ask my wife

I am out at Mardi Krawl this week but I heard this truck got just about finished and miles are getting put on it now!

I can't wait to get her back, hopefully soon. With the cost of diesel these days, she'll be my daily for airport duty. Diesel is still cheaper than it was in Australia at least, so I try to keep that in mind.

About $90 fuel/tolls right now for me to take my truck back and forth, it'll be about $75 to take the Cruiser: like I need an excuse to drive it more. But now it'll be my economy car!

Next project arrived from Australia. Thank you @frankenyota and @matt tin !! Matt tin went above-and-beyond and I owe him big time.

Over the next few weeks I'll sand it all down, prime, paint it Heath Grey, install a new screen with the new weatherstrip I already have and whack it on the Paki Pig.

One of my favourite parts of my LX was the three wipers; soon I'll have another bit of the soul of my favourite 40 chasing out the evil spirits of the Paki Pig.

An interesting side note: the LX screen arrived on the Paki Pig's 44th birthday. It was manufactured on 22 Sept, 1982 at the Honsya plant in Toyoda City.
