After years of running just a bikini top, I finally put the soft top on. I couldn’t believe how claustrophobic it felt. Noise levels were no better. After an 8 hour drive on the trailer and watching it balloon out and screw up the paint job, it came off. I suppose I’ll put it back on at some time, but I really love these things with the top off.Went for a drive today. Having the top on is different. It’s quieter but louder at the same time . Kinda echoes more I guess . I do have a slight front main seal leak. Honestly I am tired of working on this thing . And I went to list it for sale but I guess you have to pay 5 bucks to marketplace now
. So I gave up . I am not sure if I will fix it or just wait and pull the entire drivetrain
.

Yes when I was up in the snow I am not sure how but the pan bolts came loose and she puked all her guts out . That trans has been kinda a pain all along as it always had a leak at the shift shaft . Normally that is an easy fix. ( I even bought the tool and seal ) but this one did not have a seal . The very early th400 has a oring.Since you are going to a 350 I assume the 400 died from something besides not holding the power/use of your rig ?
