You have never done that have you ? You go ahead, carry on. Let me know what the block maching, new caps & hardware, and new crank bore cost, wonder if a new block is cheaper ?????? And, if you think a 2 bolt will hold 700. build away.

hmm maybe that is why we have to drag his rig off the trail every year .
Also ever since i have had this 40 i have had a trans leak at the shift shaft . I bought the special tool and seal and all that stuff only to get discouraged when i found that my TH400 does not have that seal
. I was going to take it in and have a shop fix it but i just never have done it . Well Today i did some more research . I found Classic Transmission had the Special O-ring. . There mechanic actually called me back and disused my transmission . i now know i have a 1967 Th400 and its a pretty simple fix so O-rings are on the way . I then called SOR and we talked about the window weather stripping and i gave him the glass measurements that i have and we were able to get that sorted . Starting to make progress againyes and i know I just dont show step by step of everything i do lolBlock deburring and polishing is usually done on the inside to improve oil return and reduce misc. material in oil, FWIW. Astetics are important too.
should have done a manual swap.

I keep looking for a sm420should have done a manual swap.![]()
Hahah No these go on the shift shaft of a 1967 TH400 transmission .Do those go on the shifter handle threads to keep it from loosening ?
