did you Special Interest tag it?Big day today woke up early and went to DMV. Got there at 6:30 am they open at 8 and already a huge line
. Since i had never registered this and it was from out of state i was a little nervous . They had to do a vin inspection so we did that then she was doing the reg and was only going to give me a OHV Reg . I told he no its a real car , so she got the manager. lady. She came out and says Ohh. its a Land Cruiser you are good . We went back in and just like that i am Legal
. Got home and took it for a rip went about 30 miles and it drove great. It cruises good around 55 it could go faster but i dont want to 40 inch tires with about 8 psi ect. plus i never intended to take this on highway trips . I am very happy with it though. I can easily drive it around Tahoe or from the end of Rubicon back to loon all around Moab ect I have a bunch of lakes close to my house and i like to take Elsie so now we can just go .
No it’s a fully licensed and insured soccer mom mobile. They liked it at DMV. I can’t wait for all the police to pull me over to check it outdid you Special Interest tag it?
Ashland or gp dmv is your friend too.
I know nothing about that ? i have not got a ticket in at least 30 years I think the only thing i would get dinged on is fender coverage and i am not worried about that I wont be driving this to much on the streetI think Gnob was asking about a special interest plate. It will still be fully licensed and insured, but you skip a lot of the things that could cause you a fix-it ticket... And you only need to register it once.
the upside is permanent (no bianal renewal ) and one plateI know nothing about that ? i have not got a ticket in at least 30 years I think the only thing i would get dinged on is fender coverage and i am not worried about that I wont be driving this to much on the street
bianal?!? I'm glad I don't go to your DMV office...the upside is permanent (no bianal renewal ) and one plate
There are so many rigs running around up there they would not stop you for beadlocks and how would you know the difference you bought it that wayI plan on driving around South Lake Tahoe as well. What is the law out there on driving with bead locks? I think I am ok with fender coverage (maybe not)
