Id get rid of the SBC. Then id cut it in half at the b pillar and stretch it 10”. You got time. Maybe some 44” boggers, needs more aggressive tires for sure.
I have a new one that i just may do something like that with . That is what the 43 tsl /sx tires are for . Of coarse i understand you are being sarcastic , for what reason i do not know .
Man it just goes over things like nothing. Very smooth I am actually very surprised how well it rides . Went out to 140 and went through the rocks like nothing . Then I went over the 2 big drain pipe things and broke my upper link 100 percent my fault I had only tacked the bung . Put her on the trailer and welded it up good to go now . I was going to get a aluminum link so I forgot about that. No biggie. Very happy with how it did though
I have a bunch of parts showing up
This week so next weekend will be another big push. Then 2 weeks of just checking bolts and securing wires and stuff like that .
I Changed the brake light switch last nite . And we have brake lights . Of course what looked like would be a easy job took a few hours. . There is a steering column support I had to remove to get the new switch in . Of course the PO had a plethora of different bolts he used . But it’s all good now and can use 1 wrench . Also on my pitman arm my tie rod end did not fit correctly. So I bought the proper tapered reamer and fixed that last night . One other thing I have not been happy about and that is the new trans pan I got . It really is a poor design and I have tried 3 different gaskets and ended up using trans pan gasket sealer plus a gasket . It worked but I noticed a very tiny weep So I ordered a new pan with a flat surface . So I will tackle that tonite . And the new headlight switch
Swapped out the new trans pan for the even newer trans pan last night. Zero leaks . Installed new oe headlight switch and we have headlights and tail lights . I need to slow down do not want this thing to get to domesticated . LOL lots to get done this weekend
All the never ending stuff I been working on to get it trail ready. We are close. I have tomorrow and then a couple hours this week in the evenings not much as I need to have it loaded and ready to go by Friday . Hi light mounted
