I personally do not like the look of the Maxxis tire. Looks like it should be on a forklift or something . The Mickey Thompson are much more aggressive.

Picked up this insanely expensive fire extinguisher Think I will let my 40 burn before I use it . And the fancy quick release. Also got a new stand alone trans cooler. Funny they match haha. I didn’t plan that .

Also placed a 3000 dollar order at Spector So I should get 2 new bolts and a gasket . 3.5 weeks it’s time to thrash

Worked on getting the trans cooler installed and the trans tunnel back in last night . pulled the seats. and fuel tank , such fun I needed to check fitment because i went to a twin stick and did not want to weld the sticks in first . Like everything else this will take a bit longer than expected. I was supposed to have it in the Come Up winch booth this weekend but i pulled the plug on that last night . Its not done . 30 days and it will be on the Rubicon/ Fordyce Stay focused

Goal is to have all 4 tires mounted ,trans cooler hooked up. , new winch installed and trans tunnel and seat back in by Sunday nite . Sat is dead since I am going to the PNW overland show

4 tires on and 4 tires gone . Also a few parts came in today . Most will show up Tue . So I am running up to the PNW overland event tomorrow. Bummed I was supposed to bring the 40 to be in the Come Up winch booth. Next year . New tail lights installed . Lots to do on Sunday.

What do you guys think I should get next Kinda sucks I have to pull the transfer case off before Sept to check the spline count . I needed to figure that out because I have Rubithon in Sept If I pull it I don’t want to put it back in .

To find that spline count, couldn’t you remove the rear propeller mount or T/C rear cover, then remove the nut and spacer. Look at the shaft and count the splines. No need to remove the T/C.

So i figured it was a 32 spline TH 400. but the guys at AA said that it could be a 27. I will try and figure out a better way

Yep once again this flippin TH400 trans rears its head . The 1 piece i have not touched on this thing . This may be the straw that breaks the TH400 back

Id get rid of the SBC. Then id cut it in half at the b pillar and stretch it 10”. You got time. Maybe some 44” boggers, needs more aggressive tires for sure.
