Also in. I'm not aware of any ranges longer than 100yards.

Just an FYI, Frontline Defense in Warrenton has a 1000 yard range and a 300 yard range. There is another place out near Zebulon that has a 300 yard range, but I cant remember the name of it. Its run by a private individual that's an ex-seal. He used to be very active on Carolina shooters, but I am not been active on there in the last 2 years. I also heard that Range 37 will be adding a longer range, but I dont know if they have done that or not yet.

I would like to have a silencer like they use but if I remember correctly they are about $1400 each.

Try one first - you can shoot mine and see if you think it is worth it. Frankly, as an owner, I do not think it is :), but I had big plans to do lots of hunting and clay shooting with it before we moved.

What about planning a rifle/handgun/shotgun 1/2 day around Uwharrie Work Days? Maybe a Sunday PM?

Anyone ever been to DeWitt's Sporting clays just south of Uwharrie?

Is anyone interested in a sweet 1967 vintage High Standard supermatic tournament ? it is in very good collectible shape ( but no box, original red bottom magazine) judging by the face of the breech it has not likely been shot much, but I am more of a shooter and not quite the collector. looking to trade for a long range shooter or possibly an AR....

Price reduced to $75

Not target steel. Mild as in typical low carbon cheap zombie steel.

Hey guys, I shared this on my facebook, but I have a co-worker raffling off a new Glock G43. If you are on Facebook, just take a look at my post or PM me for more info otherwise. His original post is below.

Hello Everyone,
I'm in the process of putting a fund raiser together. It will be a raffle for a Glock 43, which is a 9mm handgun. The tickets will run for $10 each, or buy 5 get one free. I should have the tickets next Tuesday or Wednesday. If interested, please message me or call me for those that have my number.

The gun is fully paid for and being held at the gun store. Anyone that purchases a ticket, must hold a gun permit, concealed carry, or able to get one if you win the gun. If you win, we will go to the gun store together in order for you to register the gun. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

The drawing will be held April 16 during the operating hours of the gun store which closes at 2pm.

Green lasers are quite the bomb! I decided to try a Lasermax Spartan on the Beretta. I don't think I'd use this particular laser on a carry gun due to the wide and sensitive paddles unless it was in a kydex holster that wouldn't flex around the paddles. It'll work fine for a house gun that doesn't live in a holster. Nice and bright, even in daylight, though. We'll see if this is enough to keep me from installing tritiums.

This is a joke, but I though it was pretty good. When you watch this, remember that I would love to have an AR-15

haha...I plan on building one myself someday....still trying to figure out if I want a long barrel or an even longer barrel...I don't even know how far I would have to travel to find a 1000 yard range

Where in your life, even in the Zombie Apocalypses, are you thinking you are going to need 1000 yards out of a rifle?

That works, just never had the urge. I shot trap for several years before 08, we've talked about getting a thrower and bio clays and shooting here at the farm. Probably use steel shot as well. I guess in the Zombie world I can hunt birds around here. :)

I welcome the challenges of longer distance shooting, besides under 1000yards and I will just hit ya with a landcruiser.....
seriously, I would rather attempt the impossible as I can always shoot at things closer...heck I can shoot 100yards with my pistol...

I can shoot ten yards with my spear gun, have to be under water though :)
