Just show him Doug Kingsmore Stadium it makes the shamecocks facilities look quite feeble. Look at that capacity crowd even the outfield is lined with fans. We had 15,000 for a 3 game set this past weekend and it was 40 degrees, windy, and raining.

Oooooooo....a lefty....sounds like he may have LOTS of option his Sr year.
USC has recruited the #1 ranked recruiting class 2 years in a row so
talented kids must like it coming to SC.
They are getting ready to construct a new "state of the art" multi-million
dollar baseball complex as well. The atmosphere for college baseball
in SC is unreal. No pro teams. Rabid loyal fans. Great conference rivaries.
Over the top state rivaries.
In any event, here's to hard throwing 4 pitch lefties!
David what you have isn't too bad. USC has what 2 big Stadiums within sight of each other. Now a 3rd?
Clemson has a nice field also. UNC got a millions dollars for upgrades for it's field from George Stienbrenner last year.

Everybody I've talked to that has seen UNC's facilities say they are
first rate. Football stadium is a little small by S.E.C. standards but
still first rate.
The Colonial Center for Basketball at USC seats about 17K and
Wiliams Brice for football seats about 85K. We fill 'em up too.
New baseball park has yet to be finalized but it will seat several
thousand and also have practice fields. Money ain't a problem. Hehe
Graduating lawyers, doctors and MBAs doesn't hurt.

I just get a sense of pride that the po old Gamecocks sold out
the football stadium while the team went 0-21 a few years back.
Po old Gamecocks may stink at times but we are a loyal and
supportive bunch. Win, lose or draw....dem's our boys out there!

Dude, if he visits with Ray Tanner and checks out a S.E.C. game in Colatown
he's a Gamecock.
If he does make here, they will take good care of him and get him ready for that pro $$$$.

That there is a days hurlin' for ol Honeycutt.
It's good to finally get to play at Sarge Field. This looks to be
the farewell season at the old ballbark. I hope they send it off in style.

Clemson won 8-3 today. Decent day all the way around.
Sidenote: Jacoby Ford ran the fastest 60m time in the country of the track season the other day at the track meet. Fastest player in the ACC for sure maybe the country.

Sarge Fry Field must be rocking tonight. EMU was a tough out. Their starting
pitching is fantastic. The relief killed them. They could have used a hard throwing lefty.

jayhawks drop another to stanford...4-1....this kinda reminds me of my favorite team when i was a kid...the cleveland indians...grew up an hour from lakefront stadium...you could buy a ga ticket and sit in the box seats...they were bad!..but i always thought they would win this time...it kept me going back...plus i got autographed baseballs from mark the bird fidrich and gaylord perry!....i don't watch much major league ball now...lots of summer rec...babe ruth...high school and college....and damn it snowed here last night...that means the high scholl season will start in the gym

Pacific isnt horrible they were about .500 last yr. We start playing real teams the same time USC does, this coming weekend Clemson v USC. This is what its all about we may set a new single game attendence record with this one. Every time we play its ridiculous.
sweeeet...i will have to see if i can find a webcast of the game...sounds like from listening to you and gundy it should be one heck of a series!....i think i will put my money on the cocks....whoever wins it should be a great experience for players, fans, coaches and all baseball fans!

Uhhhh...Oklahoma and EMU ain't chumps. I'm not saying they are world beaters but they are REAL teams. Plus USC opened with 6 road games to start the year.
The CU vs USC series should be neat. Saturday at Clemson then Sunday at Columbia. I just hope po ol lamecocks can luck out a split.

I think WCCP.com (local Clemson radio) carries all CU baseball games
on a web cast. I haven't tried it but when listening to the CU games
I know they talk about far away listeners who follow on the net.
This weekend a guy e-mailed them from Turkey. They love their Tigers
worldwide.
I'll check wccp.com and see if I can attach a link. Hold on.
Edit: I got it! This radio is fun to listen to. It's full of CU vs USC
banter...ALL day long.

thanks for the link...i will try it out before game time...headed over to ku tonight for the last pitching clinic before the season starts tomorrow...went down to our fieldhouse today to help the coach with getting the last minute things ready for tomorrow...looks like my son will be the number 2 pitcher in the varsity rotation...coach shared his thoughts on jake vs the junior that was scheduled at #2...coach asked me if i thought he would be alright in that spot...told him to do what he thought was best....jake would be ready come game time!
