Cool. I hope that comes to fruition. I'm leaning towards something like that up front. Don't think I "need" a full bumper, not that I don't want one though. Know what I mean? Ha.

Yeah that's why SSS created the one for the 4 runner ... I think just about ever style toyota owner is wanting Them to make a hybrid bumper for their vehicle. .. just takes alot of time to develop

Wow that bumper is going to be awesome, very interested in how it turns out! How much would you say it weighs?
It's gonna be the same front and rear bumper that is on the Adventure Driven GX ... the rear will be a more up dated swing arm that goes all the way across and is now attached to the truck door and they move together in one motion ... also added a ladder and made the tire carrier alot more sturdy

I guess that's what happens when you make quality products. People want it. Ha. When I have the money to get the rear bumper I want to go with the jerry can holder instead of the ladder. Don't see myself using the ladder that much and would rather gas/water not on the roof.

Whoa, really liking that bumper, can't wait to see the final production model!

It is great that Gas is getting cheaper these vehicles weight around 4800 pounds since I added few parts I am getting 11 MPG holy mother of god I could drive a 1938 half track around town and get a better gas mileage

Are you adjusting your math for a larger tire size (assuming you're running bigger tires)?

well the new update that i'm working on as we speak will have a removable bolt on ladder ... so you may be able to opt for a jerry can holder instead of a ladder ... adventure driven's rear bumper was only one to my remembering that had a duel swing arm like that ...

if enough people wanted a Hybrid bumper for the gx it would certainly motivate the development of it actually being produced ... maybe like a group buy

The website still lists the jerry can option but I like the single swing arm vs dual like Adventure Driven.

Sneak peak ... working on the rear bumper this weekend ...

I'm impressed - very nice build!

I like the ladder & Jerry can, so what about the ladder and then a swing out Jerry Can holder attached to the ladder. driving down the road the jerry can is hooked up to the ladder, you stop and swing the can away and climb up the ladder.

Yeah I kind of thought about that too ... I think there is room between the tire and ladder to fit a jerry short ways or easily fit roto packs ... but yeach a swing out would be cool too ... you could share the same holes the ladder uses

CB MIckeeper

I use this. Stays up even when in the rough stuff.

The front however is finished other than a few holes to drill for mounting lights and powder coating. ...
