wow so much goodness! i too like those sliders! i would be more interested in a single kick out and maybe a slightly lighter material as i dont plan on wheeling my GX like i do my runner...if you did a single kick out at the rear would you run that outter tube all the way up to the front of the square tube?

Thank you and Yes the center section would just be longer to compensate for the front kickouts not being there and I would program a longer fill plate

Giggity on the TC stuff, are those stock length lowers? Those are so sexy, I loved my TC UCAs on my FJC!

yeah me too!!... stock length ... no long travel ... really just going for reliability, durability, and peace of mind ... a lil more articulation and adjustablity and put my tire flat on the ground as well ... hes a bit pigeon toed right now

oh and an update on the axles i just went with the life time warranty axles from oreilly's ... its just makes scenes to me ... to keep my stock as back ups and if the new ones have any trouble go swap them out ... if i get into any hardcore wheeling then i'll look into something different

OEMs are fine, even for pretty intense wheeling. The tie rods will blow well before (or with) the CV. Ask me how I know

I agree but my oem CV boots are leeaking pretty good right now

Get some norma torro clamps to tighten them down. The stock CVs cant take the lift angle and will leak grease even with new ones, I just added norma torro clamps and good to go.

They look like this, like a hose clamp but with no perforations on the inside to rip the boot.

Where did you purchase yours and what part number? I went to west marine to purchase the ones for my FJ but don't feel like driving across town.

Nailed it. I use clamps too. OEM pinch clamps will slide and allow leakage. If you aren't torn, clamp em and wheel on!

LOL jK ... but yeah thats a good point whats gonna be the difference later on with new axles? .... i'll buy two sets of clamps i guess ... one for new axles and one the back ups

All CV axles OEM or aftermarket come with the pinch style bands to tighten, those always leak after lift, clamps are way tighter and get the job done

no you needed new axles... yours are not seeping grease they are throwing grease. Once that happens and the joint is contaminated and will wear much faster since it has been low on grease. good to keep as spares though to get you back to town till you can hit an O'reillys up for warranty

I figured you would after talking to Sean. I'm thinking that is the best way to go as long as you have spares for when those break, which according to him is a lot. But he also runs a supercharger and 34" swampers which are heavy as
