Mud is without a doubt our go to information place.. but twitter makes it easy to update events in real time. i.e. Scott just put his truck into a tree. (with pic) no waiting until Monday for those that can't make it. It's news as it happens.
Hopefully things will still get posted here.

What's Twitter? I'm feeling old, I remember when people actually talked to each other.

No s***! I have a phone that txts and takes pictures. I really only needed a phone.

My company is sending out Ipad V2s as a gift which we will have to pay taxes on. Like I need a forced expense right now. What the hell will I do with a F'n Ipad?

I just got the Thunderbolt Droid phone. I used to be one of the guys that only wanted a phone but this this thing works for almost everything, misc, navagation, surfing the web. I use it more than I ever thought i would.

I have a droid, its awesome, I don't twitter,,,,,, it just sounds lame,,,"do you twit?":flipoff2:

for me it's the old dog new trick syndrome. I have no intention in learning anything new unless the need presents itself to me first. Just because I can take pictures with my phone doesn't mean I have to and the TXT thing is really a PITA. You should discuss a technical problem through TXTing, shoot me then and there. Just call me, you obviously have access to a phone!

I'm comfortable with what I have and how I do things. The Ipad will go on the auction block as soon as I get it. Won't even open the thing up.

I think Twitter and Facebook are great ways to reach out to potential new members. There is really no negative to spreading your information across various platforms.

I get all my clients on there, with at least a minimal presence, because Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube are used as Search Engines by a growing demographic... youtube was actually #2 in total searches last year to Google at one point.

So when a person who uses those mediums (and that number is in the billions) does a search for a Toyota Club, you want to to come up, even if you don't "do" a lot there, you point folks to your website, or your forum (here in our case) and you've "caught" them.

The best part? It's free. There's literally no downside to spreading your message to millions of potential interested parties.

Well look at you all being positive!!!! :grinpimp:
Good point Dave, free is always good
