I give my old oil to a construction office down the street that uses it to burn in their furnace. Bet there's plenty of people burning waste oil up there in VT.

picked up this little gem while out in Denver....a 1958 Chevy Apache. Runs and drives and the underside is spotless. has some minor body rot but replacement panels are dirt cheap. Probably flip it but will likely keep it for the summer.:grinpimp:

Nice find.

I basically stole it. I was looking for an FJ40 to bring back but this was one of my top 5 finds of all time. Looks like I'll be slow cruising Sanford and Son style for the summer. perhaps a trade for an FJ at some point? we'll see. Can't fit the family in it so it'll be flipped at some point

Group buy on 65 foot t-max winch straps

I have a great deal pending on T-Max winch straps. T-Max changed hands recently and their NOS straps are available for a big discount. If you can find them, they are still selling for $60 plus S&H. (BTW, T-Max was the only winch that survived the FourWheeler Magazine winch test intact.)

This is not a snatch strap, it is a tow strap or winch strap with very little stretch. A nice way to add some extra distance between you and your winch to the nearest place to hook it up.

I can sell this 9K rated 2" X 66 foot strap for $39.99 plus S&H or free local pickup at my home or a future YT event. (Keep in mind that the packaging isn't exactly new and may be quite worn.)

I will donate one strap free to the Fall Gathering raffle for every TEN I sell. (I'm not making much on these, but the club comes first.)

I will order the first batch as soon as I get 5 folks to sign up here. Just quote the message and add your name.

Thanks,

Larry

I'll grab one Larry. I'll snag it at Kina's if that works for you.
Thanks for your offer to donate!

Does it still have the original inline 6 cylinder 235 ? I heard of people dropping in a v8.

That is VERY cool.

Stumbled on this today.

Pinzgauer for sale | Pinzgauer For Sale

That guy has been pimping that truck on CL quite a bit by putting FJ40 in the ad so when you search it comes up.

I love the Pinzgauer. You can beat the piss out of them. If you get the chance to the 4wheel adventure at the place in Lincoln NH. I did that for my batchelor party and man was it fun. The driver even let us bring the cooler with us.

it's almost all original with the 6 cyl engine and 3 spd trans. Likely gonna keep it fairly stock

If you flip it....heh, if!
When you flip it it's obviously worth more stock.
Should fetch you a little chunk of change for a new yota.

LOL. It's astounding how much cheaper parts are for a vintage chevy than a vintage toyota. Just bought a rebuilt carb for $120 with a 2 year warranty.

Not bad!
Yotas are pricey to repair/mod compared to most trucks.
It's well worth it though and cheaper than boats, my old hobby.
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a 40 in the next few years though, I'm told thats pricey as well.....

I work nights and get random days off. Just pain in the ass schedule, things should be settling down in the next few months hopefully. Till then I sleep and work. I got a lot of wheeling in during winter and since spring hit have not made it out once. Sad but life.
